How to interpret the reported price difference
The reported ₹22,999 M47 launch price is ₹7,000 below the ₹29,999 Motorola India listing figure, but subtracting them does not establish a current saving: the M47 price is a secondary report, its official captured page says “Not for sale,” and Motorola’s figure is a listing price for a specific 12GB/256GB configuration. The amounts also do not establish an apples-to-apples comparison of the same-day, same-retailer purchase options.
Before deciding on price, compare the live checkout amount for each phone in India, matching RAM and storage where possible and checking discounts, bank offers, and availability. The M47’s reported 6GB/128GB configuration conflicts with Samsung’s captured 8GB listing, making the exact comparison especially uncertain.

Which phone has the stronger display and storage evidence?
Display resolution
Motorola’s cited India specification is more explicit: it lists a 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED panel with 2712 × 1220 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The M47’s reported 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel also reaches 120Hz, but Samsung’s captured listing does not substantiate those details. On the available evidence, Motorola has the clearer documented resolution advantage; that does not by itself establish which screen looks better in person.
Expandable storage
Motorola’s India specification explicitly supports a microSD card up to 1TB, alongside 256GB internal storage. Samsung’s listing gives 128GB or 256GB internal-storage choices, but the captured material does not establish microSD expansion. If removable storage matters, confirm the M47’s full official specification before buying rather than assuming it can or cannot take a card.

What the battery, charging, and camera figures do—and do not—show
Battery and charging
Motorola’s India support page specifies 5,500mAh and 68W, while TechRadar’s reviewed launch version is listed with a 5,200mAh battery and the same 68W wired charging. The M47’s reported 6,000mAh battery is larger on paper, but its 45W charging figure and battery capacity remain secondary-reported here. Capacity and charging wattage alone do not establish real-world endurance or charging time.

The reviewed Edge 60 Fusion configuration has a 50MP main camera, 13MP ultrawide, and 32MP front camera. The M47 report lists 50MP, 5MP, and 2MP rear cameras plus a 12MP front camera. These are module and resolution figures, not evidence that one phone takes better photos. Image processing, sensor details, and testing under comparable conditions would be needed for a camera-quality verdict.

Software support: compare official commitments, not just reported claims
For the cited India Edge 60 Fusion, Motorola lists Android 15 and “3 OS + 4 Years SMR.” The M47 report claims Android 16/One UI 8.5, six Android version generations, and six years of security patches, but those claims are not corroborated by Samsung’s captured page. Treat the M47 support period as reported rather than confirmed until Samsung publishes the applicable India policy for the exact model.

Motorola warns that specifications can vary by market. Its cited India sheet names the Dimensity 7400, 5,500mAh battery, and 8GB/12GB memory options. TechRadar’s July 2025 review lists a different reviewed configuration: 8GB RAM, 5,200mAh, and launch prices of £299 in the UK and AU$699 in Australia. Those UK and Australian launch prices are not current prices and should not be compared directly with an India listing. Use the specification page and exact model configuration for the market where you intend to buy.

Which should you choose?
- Lean toward the Edge 60 Fusion if the India variant’s documented 1.5K display, 68W charging, or explicit microSD support fits your priorities—and its live local price is acceptable.
- Consider the Galaxy M47 5G if you confirm its sale availability, exact RAM/storage version, and official specifications, and those details meet your needs at a verified local price.
- Wait to compare if price is decisive: the cited evidence does not establish a current same-market price gap or confirm the M47’s commercial configuration.
