Official-looking renders attributed to Evan Blass (@evleaks) showed the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion before its March–April 2025 launch. They depicted a curved display, centered punch-hole camera, textured colorful backs and a raised square camera island. Motorola later released the phone with broadly the same design, while processor, battery, connectivity and protection ratings varied by market.
What leaked in March 2025
The first images appeared on March 2, 2025, in coverage based on posts by Evan Blass. They were widely described as official-looking renders, not Motorola-confirmed press images. Some reports initially mislabeled them as renders of the standard Motorola Edge 60 before identifying the handset as the Edge 60 Fusion. Additional images published later in March showed another color and more angles.
The renders were evidence of the phone’s appearance, not proof of its final specifications, price or release plan. You can see the original images in Android Headlines’ initial report and its later color gallery.
Design and colors shown in the renders
Front and sides
- A curved-edge display with relatively slim bezels and a somewhat thicker lower chin.
- A centered hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera.
- Two volume buttons above the power button on the right side.
- No obvious buttons or ports on the left edge.
Rear panel
The back showed Motorola’s batwing logo in the center and a raised, rounded-square camera island in the upper-left corner. The surfaces appeared textured, with a plastic-like or leather-inspired finish. Leak-era reports described turquoise or green, pink or rose, blue and lavender or purple versions. Those descriptions were visual shorthand; they were not necessarily Motorola’s final Pantone color names.

Camera hardware suggested by the leak
The images showed two rear cameras inside the island. A marking visible on the module was interpreted in leak coverage as a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA sensor with optical image stabilisation. That interpretation could not be verified from the renders alone. Reports also expected a 13MP ultrawide camera with macro capability and a 32MP front camera.
Motorola later confirmed a 50MP main camera in its product material, and launch reporting identified the Sony LYT700C sensor. Confirmation of the resolution does not, by itself, establish image quality, low-light results, video stabilisation or final camera tuning. Specifications reported before launch
March 2025 coverage suggested the following configuration, but these figures were leak-era expectations rather than one universal specification sheet:
- 6.7-inch curved pOLED display at 2712 × 1220 resolution and up to 120Hz.
- MediaTek Dimensity 7300 or Dimensity 7400, depending on the report and region.
- 5,200mAh battery and 68W wired charging.
- 8GB RAM and 256GB storage in at least one market.
- Android 15.
The Dimensity 7300/7400 uncertainty proved important: Motorola ultimately sold different regional variants.
Launch timing and the pre-launch price estimate
Early reports and teasers pointed to an India event around April 2, 2025. Later coverage reported the Indian launch on April 9, so April 2 should be treated as an earlier expectation, not the final release date. Motorola’s announcement described availability in selected countries across Asia, Europe, Latin America and Oceania rather than promising a worldwide launch.

The commonly cited price was approximately €350 for an 8GB/256GB version in selected European markets. That was a pre-launch estimate, not a universal retail price. A separate report speculated about a US price near $300, but it did not establish a confirmed US launch price. Current pricing must be checked in the buyer’s country.
What Motorola ultimately confirmed
Motorola announced the Edge 60 Fusion in April 2025. Its international product page lists a 6.7-inch pOLED panel with Super HD 1220p resolution, HDR10+, up to 4,500 nits HDR peak brightness, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300, a 5,200mAh battery, 68W TurboPower charging and Android 15. It also advertises a quad-curved display, Pantone Validated color, Dolby Atmos stereo audio and IP68/IP69 protection for that regional model. Details are on Motorola’s announcement and international product page.

| Leaked element | What happened in the retail product |
|---|---|
| Curved display | Broadly accurate; Motorola marketed a quad-curved pOLED display. |
| Centered punch-hole camera | Accurate. |
| Raised square camera island | Broadly accurate. |
| Bright, multi-color palette | Accurate, although leak-era color names did not always match final marketing names. |
| 50MP main camera | Confirmed by Motorola; the renders alone could not prove sensor performance. |
| 68W charging | Confirmed in Motorola product material. |
| Exact processor | Market-specific: Dimensity 7300 or Dimensity 7400 appears in official material. |
| Exact battery capacity | Market-specific: official records list 5,200mAh or 5,500mAh. |
| Exact price | Market-specific; the roughly €350 figure was only a pre-launch estimate. |
| US availability | Must be checked by country and model; a global release should not be assumed. |
What the renders could not tell buyers
- Performance: The images could not establish gaming frame rates or sustained Dimensity performance.
- Camera quality: A 50MP label and OIS claim do not reveal processing, low-light quality or video results.
- Battery endurance: Capacity does not predict runtime without testing and software conditions.
- Durability: Motorola’s claims include drops up to 1.22 metres, temperatures from −20°C to 60°C and altitudes up to 4,500 metres, but these are manufacturer test claims, not independent laboratory results.
- Water resistance: IP protection is not permanent waterproofing; seals can weaken after drops, repairs or normal wear.
What to check before buying
- Open the Motorola product or support page for your country and record the exact model number.
- Verify the processor, battery capacity, RAM, storage and whether microSD expansion is supported.
- Check NFC, eSIM and physical-SIM arrangements, which differ between markets.
- Confirm the local IP rating, included TurboPower charger and warranty coverage.
- Compare the current regional price rather than relying on the €350 launch estimate.
The Edge 60 Fusion is now an official 2025 product, not an unresolved rumor. The leak was unusually informative because its curved screen, camera styling and colorful textured finishes carried through to the finished phone. For every technical or buying decision, however, Motorola’s regional listing remains more reliable than the renders.
