Which phone suits your screen and size preference?
Choose the Edge 50 Fusion for a larger display
At 6.67 inches, Motorola’s pOLED screen is the larger of the two and has the higher listed refresh rate at 144 Hz. That can make it the more appealing choice if you prefer a roomy display for video, games or reading. The specifications alone do not establish brightness, color accuracy or overall display quality.
Choose the X300 FE for a more compact display
The vivo’s 6.31-inch AMOLED screen is smaller, with a listed resolution of 2640 × 1216 and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is the more compact-screen choice on these published figures, though display size by itself does not establish the phones’ full dimensions or one-handed comfort.

How do the chipset and storage compare?
The India pages list Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 for Motorola and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for vivo. The X300 FE also lists LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 storage, with 256 GB or 512 GB configurations shown. Motorola’s listed choices are 128 GB or 256 GB storage with 8 GB or 12 GB RAM. These are specification-sheet comparisons, not benchmark results; they do not quantify real-world speed or gaming performance.
vivo states that expandable ROM is not supported. If you need a memory card or a particular SIM arrangement, check the exact regional handset variant before buying: bands, SIM support and software can differ by market.
What the camera specifications establish
The vivo listing documents three rear cameras: a 50 MP OIS main camera, a 50 MP OIS telephoto camera using Sony IMX882, and an 8 MP wide-angle camera. Its product overview describes 3× optical zoom. That gives the X300 FE a specifically documented telephoto option for framing distant subjects; it does not, by itself, prove better overall photo quality.

- Powerful Performance: Qualcomm SM6450 Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (4 nm) GPU: Adreno 710
- Camera: Dual 50 MP, f/1.9, (wide), dual pixel PDAF 13 MP, f/2.2, 120˚ (ultrawide) Selfie camera: 32MP
- Storage and RAM: 8GB of RAM Memory and 256GB Internal Storage
- Dual SIM Capability: This unlocked smartphone supports dual SIM cards, allowing you to conveniently manage personal and work lines.
The Motorola support page used for this comparison does not document enough camera detail to make a complete hardware matchup. A megapixel count or the presence of a particular lens cannot substitute for side-by-side image testing, so these sources do not establish which phone takes better photos overall.
Optional telephoto accessory for vivo
vivo says its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 is compatible with the X300 FE and sold separately. Its compatibility and separate-purchase status are described on vivo’s product overview; the cited information does not establish the accessory’s price or current availability.
Battery, charging and water resistance
Motorola lists a 5,000 mAh battery and 68 W TurboPower charging. vivo lists a 6,500 mAh typical capacity (6,350 mAh rated) and charging up to 90 W FlashCharge, with actual charging power dynamically adjusted. These are manufacturer-rated capacities and a maximum charging rating, not independently measured battery endurance or charging times.

Motorola lists IP68 protection; vivo lists IP68 and IP69. vivo cautions that resistance to splashes, water and dust is not permanent and may be reduced with daily use, and its page specifies laboratory test conditions. Neither rating should be read as a promise of permanent protection in every real-world situation.

The cited 91mobiles comparison page displayed ₹18,999 for the Edge 50 Fusion and ₹86,999 for the X300 FE, a displayed gap of ₹68,000. This is arithmetic based on those two figures, not a current like-for-like offer: the comparison page was a third-party snapshot accessed in 2026, its original publication date is not stated, and the X300 FE figure was linked to Amazon India. The figures are not verified live checkout prices or official MSRP.
Before deciding on price, check both phones on the same date, in the same market, and at the storage tier you intend to buy. Seller, stock and offer conditions can change the amount payable; the cited snapshot does not establish those details or a matched storage comparison.
Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion if your priorities are the larger 6.67-inch screen, 144 Hz refresh rate, or a lower displayed figure in the cited—but stale—India price snapshot.
- Consider the vivo X300 FE if you prefer a smaller screen, want the higher-tier chipset listed on the India page, need a documented dedicated optical telephoto camera, or value its larger stated battery capacity and higher maximum charging rating.
- Check before ordering either phone: current price for the exact storage variant, local network-band and SIM compatibility, and software configuration for your market. The specifications here are from India pages and may not represent another region’s handset.
