The vivo X300 FE is the more premium, compact option on paper: it pairs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 with a three-camera rear system and a 6.31-inch display. The Moto G85 has a larger 6.67-inch screen and is positioned as the less expensive choice, but a comparable current Moto selling price was not established. vivo India’s store listed the X300 FE 12GB+256GB at ₹89,999 when accessed in 2026; that is not enough evidence to calculate a current price difference.

What the price difference can—and cannot—tell you
The available price evidence does not support a reliable current price-gap figure. vivo India’s online store listed the X300 FE 12GB+256GB for ₹89,999 when accessed in 2026, with ₹119,999 shown as its MRP. The captured India comparison listing for the Moto G85 showed ₹17,840, but marked the phone out of stock; another captured comparison extract said it was unavailable at any store. Neither observation proves that the Moto is universally unavailable or currently available at that price.
For a fair buying comparison, check the live price and stock of the exact Moto G85 variant in your country, then compare it with the X300 FE configuration you can actually buy. The vivo specifications page lists 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB options, while the store listing used here was for 12GB+256GB. Listings for different memory configurations or countries should not be treated as like-for-like.

Check the vivo Philippines specifications page for local product information.
Performance: a higher platform tier on the vivo, without benchmark claims
The cited comparison entry identifies the Moto G85’s processor as Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, while vivo lists Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for the X300 FE. Those names place the two phones in different platform tiers on paper, with the vivo built around the higher-tier chip. The specifications alone do not quantify real-world speed, gaming performance, heat, or sustained performance; no comparable benchmark or hands-on test result is established here.
vivo also specifies LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 storage for the X300 FE. The cited Moto comparison entry lists 8GB and 12GB RAM variants but does not establish its storage type or a matching storage configuration. Those missing details make a deeper memory-and-storage comparison uncertain.

Display and size: larger Moto screen versus compact vivo dimensions
The Moto G85’s listed 6.67-inch P-OLED panel is larger by diagonal than the X300 FE’s 6.31-inch AMOLED screen. For readers who prioritize screen area, that is the clearest documented advantage of the Moto display. vivo publishes the X300 FE’s resolution as 2640 × 1216 and its refresh rate as up to 120Hz; the cited Moto comparison entry does not provide matching resolution or refresh-rate figures, so those characteristics cannot be compared from the available specifications.
vivo gives the X300 FE dimensions as 150.83 × 71.76 × 7.99mm and weight as 191g. No corresponding Moto measurements are established by the cited comparison entry. The vivo’s figures indicate a compact footprint in absolute terms, but they do not prove how the phones feel in hand relative to each other.

vivo specifies three rear cameras on the X300 FE: a 50MP optically stabilized main camera, a 50MP optically stabilized telephoto camera and an 8MP wide camera. Its front camera is listed as 50MP with autofocus. The separate telephoto hardware provides a documented camera option that is not established for the Moto G85 in the cited comparison entry.

vivo says its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 is compatible with the X300 FE and sold separately. It is an optional accessory, not a bundled feature or requirement; check the relevant regional product details before buying it. Camera specifications describe hardware, not the quality of finished photos or video, and they do not establish that the X300 FE produces better results in every scene.

Battery and charging: vivo capacity figures, but no endurance comparison
vivo lists a 6500mAh typical battery capacity and a 6350mAh minimum rated capacity for the X300 FE. It specifies up to 90W FlashCharge when using the original charger and cable. The cited Moto comparison entry does not provide matching battery or charging figures, so this evidence cannot establish which phone lasts longer or charges faster in practice. Battery life also depends on usage and conditions, neither of which is measured by these published specifications.
Software and updates: only the vivo version is established here
vivo lists Android 16 with OriginOS 6 for the X300 FE. The cited Moto comparison entry does not establish the Moto G85’s software version or an update commitment, and no comparable update-policy evidence is available here. That means this comparison cannot determine which phone will receive software support for longer.
Quick Recap
Which phone makes more sense for you?
- Consider the Moto G85 if your priority is a larger 6.67-inch display and a lower-cost model, provided you can confirm a live offer and the exact configuration in your market. The captured India listing was out of stock, so its displayed price should not be treated as a buyable current offer.
- Consider the vivo X300 FE if you want the higher-tier listed chipset, a compact 6.31-inch display, specified telephoto and wide rear cameras, or the published 90W charging capability. These are specification-based reasons to choose it, not proof of superior real-world results in every category.
- Compare locally before deciding if price is the main factor. Use the same country and check the exact RAM/storage variant, stock and current checkout price for each phone.
