Which phone has the better display?
Both models list a 120Hz refresh rate, but the G57 Power has the larger and higher-resolution panel: 6.72 inches at FHD+ versus the G45’s 6.5-inch HD+ screen. On specifications alone, the G57 Power offers more detail and more screen area. Motorola also lists up to 1,050 nits for its high-brightness mode; that figure is a stated mode specification, not a guarantee of sustained brightness in every condition.
Battery and charging: G57 Power has the larger capacity
The G57 Power lists a 7,000mAh battery and 33W charging, compared with the G45’s 5,000mAh and 18W. Motorola’s “up to 60 hours” claim applies to the G57 Power and is not an independent comparative test. Capacity and charging figures do not establish how many days either phone will last for a particular person; usage, network conditions and settings affect runtime.

Cameras and storage
Both list a 50MP main rear camera. Motorola’s G57 Power specification adds an 8MP ultrawide camera and a light/flicker sensor. The retrieved official G45 summary does not give its complete rear-camera setup, so the available specifications do not support a full camera-for-camera comparison. Comparison listings give the G45 a 16MP front camera, while the retrieved official support excerpt does not confirm that figure.
For storage flexibility, the G45’s official listing specifies microSD expansion up to 1TB and a hybrid dual-SIM tray. The G57 Power support page lists no memory-card support. That may matter if you want removable storage, though a hybrid tray can mean choosing between a second SIM and a memory card.

Size, protection and software
The G45 is around 183g; the G57 Power is 210.6g. The G57 Power is therefore the heavier option, alongside its larger screen and battery. Its listed protections are IP64 water resistance, MIL-STD 810H and Gorilla Glass 7i; the G45 lists IP52. These ratings describe stated design protections, not a guarantee against damage in every accident or environment.
Motorola’s support pages list Android 14 for the G45 and Android 16 for the G57 Power. Those versions alone do not establish update duration, update cadence or when updates arrive in a particular region; no update lifespan should be inferred from this comparison.

Which should you choose?
Choose the Moto G57 Power if
- You value the larger FHD+ 120Hz display and higher listed battery capacity.
- You want 33W listed charging and an additional 8MP ultrawide camera in the published rear setup.
- You are comfortable with a 210.6g handset and the higher observed Motorola India price.
Choose the Moto G45 5G if
- You want the lower observed India listing price or a lighter, smaller phone.
- MicroSD expansion is important and you can work with a hybrid SIM tray.
- An HD+ display and the listed 18W charging meet your needs.
At the observed prices, the extra ₹9,000 buys specification advantages—most notably the larger, sharper screen, larger battery and faster listed charging—not a proven real-world performance or battery-life gain. Recheck live prices and choose according to which of those differences matters to you.
