Does the G37 Power’s larger battery justify the price?
The published capacity is 7,000 mAh for the G37 Power versus 5,000 mAh for the G45. That is a 2,000 mAh capacity difference, but capacity alone cannot tell you how many hours either phone will last. Screen settings, network conditions, workload, software, and battery condition all affect runtime, and no matched controlled battery test is established here.
Choose the G37 Power if having the larger stated battery capacity is your priority and the higher listed price works for you. Treat that as a capacity-based choice, not a guarantee of a particular runtime advantage.

Which phone is better for the display and everyday handling?
Both phones are listed with HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The G37 Power’s listed screen is slightly larger at 6.67 inches, compared with 6.5 inches on the G45. Both are HD+ class rather than higher-resolution displays, so the listed figures establish size and refresh rate—not a clear overall display-quality winner.
The G45 is listed at about 183 g, compared with 215 g for the G37 Power, and is also thinner by the published figures. If a lighter phone matters for carrying or holding, that is a concrete specification difference in the G45’s favor.

Do the camera specifications make the G45 better?
On paper, the G45 has a 16 MP front camera versus the G37 Power’s listed 8 MP front camera. The G45’s rear-camera listing includes a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP macro camera; the G37 Power listing specifies a 50 MP main camera. These resolution figures do not establish image quality, and no matched camera test is available to decide which produces better photos or video.

Storage and SIM fit
The G45 is listed in 4/128 GB and 8/128 GB versions. Motorola’s catalog lists the G37 Power in 4/64 GB, 4/128 GB, and 8/128 GB configurations. Both have microSD support up to 1 TB in the cited specifications, but confirm the exact regional variant and whether a card uses a shared SIM slot before buying.

- Fluid 120Hz Display: Features a large 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for smooth scrolling and added durability.
Water and dust resistance
The G45’s support specifications list IP52, while the G37 Power manual lists IP64. An IP rating describes performance under specified test conditions; it does not make a phone waterproof or guarantee protection from every liquid exposure. The G37 Power manual specifically says the phone is not waterproof and that resistance can decrease with normal wear.

Software and update support
Motorola announced Android 14 for the G45 at launch, along with an Android 15 upgrade and three years of security updates. Those were launch commitments, not confirmation of the phone’s present update status. A comparison listing reports Android 16 for the G37 Power. Check the software build and support information for the precise model and market rather than treating launch-era or comparison-page software details as a current guarantee.

Which one should you buy?
- Consider the Moto G45 5G if the lower Motorola catalog price observed October 7, 2026, lighter listed weight, or higher-resolution front camera matters most to you.
- Consider the Moto G37 Power 5G if its larger published battery capacity and slightly larger listed display are worth the higher catalog price to you.
- Compare the exact SKU before checkout if RAM, storage, microSD/SIM arrangement, regional specifications, or current software support will decide the purchase.
The chip names and clock-rate listing do not establish a real-world speed winner. Likewise, neither the battery-capacity figures nor camera resolutions substitute for comparable runtime or photo testing.
