The Moto G45 5G is the better fit if you need 5G, a faster-listed processor, 128GB of storage or a higher-resolution selfie camera. The Moto G06 Power suits buyers who value its 7,000mAh battery, larger 6.88-inch screen, IP64 rating and Android 15 out of the box. Both have 120Hz HD+ LCD displays, so neither offers a sharper Full HD panel. There is no reliable like-for-like current price difference to quote: the G45 was marked out of stock in a price snapshot checked on 4 October 2026.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Moto G45 5G for 5G and more built-in memory
Motorola lists 5G bands for the G45 5G in India, while its India specifications list the G06 Power as 4G LTE only. If access to 5G is a requirement, that is the decisive distinction. The G45 also offers 128GB of internal storage compared with 64GB on the G06 Power, and it has an 8GB RAM configuration in addition to 4GB. The G45’s listed Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 platform is the more capable processor configuration on paper, but this comparison is not based on independent benchmark testing.

Choose the Moto G06 Power for battery capacity and a larger screen
The G06 Power has a 7,000mAh typical battery capacity, 2,000mAh more than the G45’s 5,000mAh rating. Both support 18W device charging; Motorola says a 20W charger is included with the G06 Power. Capacity alone does not establish how long either phone lasts in real-world use, which varies with brightness, network, apps and other conditions.
Its 6.88-inch display gives the G06 Power more screen area than the G45’s 6.5-inch panel. Both are 120Hz HD+ LCDs, not Full HD screens. The G45’s stated pixel density is slightly higher at 269ppi versus 263ppi, largely because its panel is smaller. Motorola lists IP64 for the G06 Power and IP52 for the G45; these ratings describe protection classifications, not permission to deliberately immerse either phone.

How do their displays, cameras and everyday features compare?
Display: larger versus slightly denser
The G06 Power is the choice for a larger viewing area, while the G45 has the marginally higher stated pixel density. Both are 720p-class HD+ panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. The G06 Power’s published brightness figures are up to 600 nits HBM and 450 nits typical, according to Motorola. A higher refresh rate can make supported interface motion look smoother, but it does not make either display higher-resolution.

Both phones have a 50MP main-camera headline, but megapixel counts do not establish that their photos are equivalent. The G45 comparison listing also identifies a 2MP macro camera; Motorola lists an f/1.8 50MP rear camera for the G06 Power. For selfies, Motorola’s G45 launch announcement specifies 16MP, while the G06 Power specifications list 8MP at f/2.0. These numbers describe resolution and aperture, not comparative image quality.

Both include USB-C, a 3.5mm headphone connection and stereo speakers; Motorola lists Dolby Atmos for the G06 Power.

A fair current price difference cannot be established from the available dated listings. On 4 October 2026, 91mobiles showed the G06 Power at ₹12,900 on Amazon and the Moto G45 5G at ₹10,997 marked out of stock. Gadgets 360 also listed the G06 Power starting at ₹12,900 on that date. These are third-party snapshots, not guaranteed checkout prices, and the G45’s out-of-stock status makes a direct comparison misleading. Check the exact RAM and storage variant, seller, availability and final checkout price before deciding.
