The Infinix Hot 50 5G is the one to consider if you want a larger screen and its current price is lower; the Moto G45 5G has higher listed camera resolutions and a clearer launch-announced software commitment. Both offer 5G, a 120Hz HD+ LCD, 5,000mAh battery and 128GB storage options. Compare the same RAM configuration and check the live price and exact India variant before buying.

Specifications for the Moto are listed on Motorola’s support page; it warns that specifications can vary by market. Which phone has the better display?
The Hot 50 5G has the larger panel: 6.7 inches compared with 6.5 inches on the Moto G45 5G. Both are listed as 1600 × 720 IPS LCDs with 120Hz refresh rates, so the Infinix gives you more screen area without a higher listed resolution. If reading, video, or a roomier interface matters most, the larger Hot 50 display is its clearest hardware advantage.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minutePerformance: different chips, no guaranteed winner
The Moto uses the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, while the Hot 50 5G uses the Dimensity 6300. Those names alone do not establish which phone will feel faster in everyday use. Performance also depends on the specific task, software, memory configuration and testing conditions; a single benchmark score would not prove a universal advantage.
#1 Best Overall
- NEW built-in stylus. Jot notes, edit photos, sketch artwork, and navigate effortlessly with an improved stylus and updated software.
- 6.7" pOLED display and Dolby Atmos. Experience cinema-quality entertainment with over a billion shades of color and multidimensional sound*.
- 50MP Ultra Pixel camera + OIS. Capture sharper low-light photos and smoother videos with an unshakable camera system featuring Optical Image Stabilization.
- 30W TurboPower charging + over a day battery. Get hours of power in just minutes of charging, then work and play with unbelievable battery life**.
- Standout design. Make a statement with its stunning look, modern color, and soft, vegan leather finish.
Both models are offered with 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. For a fair price comparison, match 4GB against 4GB or 8GB against 8GB rather than comparing the cheapest listing for one phone with a higher-memory version of the other.
Camera specifications: Moto leads on listed megapixels
The Moto G45 5G lists a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 16MP front camera. The Hot 50 5G lists a 48MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. That gives the Moto higher listed resolutions, particularly for selfies, but megapixels do not establish image quality. No controlled camera comparison is available here, so choose based on sample photos or a hands-on comparison if camera results are decisive.

Battery, charging and durability
Both phones list 5,000mAh batteries. Charging figures need more care: Motorola’s support page says 18W, but the company’s August 2024 India launch announcement advertised 20W TurboPower. The Hot 50 5G is listed at 18W by a third-party source. Confirm the precise India retail specification and whether a charger is included before treating these numbers as a buying advantage.
Motorola lists IP52 for the Moto G45 5G; 91mobiles reports IP54 for the Hot 50 5G. These ratings are not waterproof guarantees, and the Infinix rating is not confirmed here by a readable official specification source. Do not assume either phone is safe to submerge.

Software support and long-term use
Motorola’s India launch announcement said the Moto G45 5G would receive an upgrade to Android 15 and three years of security updates. That is a launch commitment, not confirmation of the phone’s current delivered update status. For the Hot 50 5G, a third-party listing reports two years of security updates; an equivalent current official commitment was not established. Check each manufacturer’s latest support information if update longevity is central to your decision. Infinix’s “5+ Years of Smoothness” storefront wording is marketing, not a stated software-update guarantee.

Choose the Infinix Hot 50 5G if
- You prefer the larger 6.7-inch display.
- Its live price is lower than the Moto at the same RAM and storage tier.
Consider the Moto G45 5G if
- The higher listed front- and rear-camera resolutions matter to you, while recognizing they do not guarantee better photos.
- Motorola’s announced Android 15 upgrade and three years of security updates are more relevant to you, after checking current update status.
Neither chipset name, megapixel count nor a dated listing settles the decision by itself. Compare the same memory tier, check the exact India model and buy based on the current price and the feature you value most.
