Choose the Moto G35 5G if a sharper FHD+ screen, stereo speakers, lighter weight and expandable storage matter most. Choose the Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G if you prioritize a larger stated battery, faster rated charging and Samsung’s explicit six-year OS and security update promise. Their headline prices look alike, but they come from different sources and conditions—not a verified current, like-for-like checkout comparison.
How the Moto G35 and Galaxy F70e differ
The comparison below is for the India-market models documented by Motorola and Samsung. Specifications and availability can vary; Samsung says they may change. The display, battery, software support and audio differences are the most decision-relevant published distinctions.

Which phone has the better display?
The Moto G35 has the higher documented resolution: 2400 × 1080 pixels, compared with the F70e’s 720 × 1600. That makes the Moto the stronger specification choice if you value a sharper image for text and fine detail. Samsung’s up-to-120Hz figure describes refresh rate, not resolution; it does not make the HD+ panel sharper. The available specifications do not establish a brightness or real-world screen-quality winner.

Which has the bigger battery, and what does that mean?
Samsung lists a 6,000mAh typical battery for the F70e, with a rated minimum of 5,830mAh. Motorola lists 5,000mAh for the Moto G35. The F70e also has the higher stated charging wattage, 25W versus 18W. These figures show capacity and rated charging power, not measured battery life or a guaranteed charging time; no matched endurance test is available to establish which lasts longer in everyday use.
Software updates: Samsung makes the clearer commitment
Samsung announced six years of OS and security updates for the F70e, and lists One UI 8. Motorola’s cited India specification page lists Android 14 but does not give a comparable support duration. That means Samsung has the clearer documented long-term update promise in these sources; it does not establish Motorola’s full update policy.

Durability, sound and storage
Water and dust resistance
The published ratings are IP54 for the F70e and IP52 for the Moto G35. Samsung describes its IP54 test as exposure to 10 liters of fresh water per minute for five minutes from all angles, while warning that resistance can diminish with wear and advising against beach or pool use. An IP rating is not a waterproof guarantee; Samsung’s test details should not be assumed to describe Motorola’s IP52 rating.
Speakers and wired headphones
Motorola documents stereo speakers on the Moto G35. Samsung lists no stereo support for the F70e, although both specifications list a 3.5mm audio connection. If built-in stereo playback matters, the Moto has the clearer documented advantage.

Weight and expandable storage
Motorola lists the Moto at around 185g, compared with Samsung’s 199g for the F70e. Motorola also specifies microSD expansion up to 1TB, with a hybrid SIM arrangement that uses either dual SIM or one SIM plus microSD. The cited Samsung product page identifies a 128GB model but does not establish microSD support.
Performance and cameras: what the specifications can—and cannot—tell you
The phones use different processors: Unisoc T760 in the Moto G35 and MediaTek Dimensity 6300 in the F70e. Their listed core configurations and clock speeds are not a substitute for a matched benchmark or everyday-use test, so these figures alone do not establish which phone performs better.

Moto G35 vs Galaxy F70e price difference in India
| Phone and configuration | Published price figure | What the figure represents |
|---|---|---|
| Moto G35 5G, 4GB/128GB | ₹12,499 | Motorola India catalog display accessed on 2026-10-07; not a verified live marketplace checkout price |
| Galaxy F70e 5G, 4GB/128GB | ₹12,499 | Samsung India launch net effective price announced on 2026-02-09, including bank cashback |
| Galaxy F70e 5G, 6GB/128GB | ₹13,999 | Samsung India launch net effective price announced on 2026-02-09, including bank cashback |
Samsung also described an additional limited-period ₹500 launch offer and said sales would begin on 2026-02-17. Its launch figures are historical offer prices, not universal current prices. Motorola’s ₹12,499 figure is a catalog display, not a confirmed transaction price. The apparent ₹12,499 match therefore does not prove the phones currently cost the same or that either is cheaper. Check the current listing and checkout total, compare the same RAM/storage configuration, and verify bank-cashback eligibility. Sources: Motorola India catalog and Samsung India launch announcement.
