The Moto G Stylus (2026) has a confirmed U.S. launch MSRP of $499.99, but the claimed $399.99 Prime Day price and “first Amazon price drop” are not verified by the available evidence. Motorola confirms Amazon availability, not a particular listing or deal. Check the live Amazon offer, seller, configuration, and checkout price before treating $399.99 as current.
What is confirmed about the Moto G Stylus 2026 price?
Motorola announced a U.S. MSRP of $499.99 for the unlocked phone in its April 1, 2026 launch announcement. Its U.S. product page, accessed October 7, 2026, displayed a $599.99 / $499.99 price pair; because the page is dynamic, that display should be read as an observed listing, not a permanent price or proof of an Amazon discount. Motorola’s launch announcement and the Motorola U.S. product page are the relevant price references.

Motorola said the unlocked model would be available at Amazon.com, BestBuy.com, and Motorola.com beginning April 16, 2026. That establishes Amazon as an intended retailer, but does not confirm the current stock, seller, configuration, checkout price, or price history of an Amazon listing. Without those details, the $399.99 figure and “first” discount claim cannot be substantiated.

The defining feature is an active stylus built into the phone. Motorola says it supports tilt and pressure in supported apps, and highlights features including Sketch to Image and Handwriting Calculator. Those are manufacturer descriptions; app support and feature availability can vary by function.

What to check before buying an Amazon deal
- Confirm the listing is for the Moto G Stylus (2026), rather than another year’s model, and check the storage and color configuration.
- Check the seller and that the displayed amount is the price at checkout; promotional prices and availability can change.
- To establish that $399.99 is a discount, compare the live offer with Motorola’s $499.99 launch MSRP and a reliable record of the Amazon listing’s past prices. A price below MSRP by itself does not prove it is the phone’s first Amazon price drop.
Motorola’s launch announcement is the source for the MSRP and intended retail availability; it does not document an Amazon promotion. Read the announcement for Motorola’s original availability statement.
