Quick wins for a faster PC:
Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →For most people focused on price, the Moto G 2026 is the better value: its announced U.S. MSRP is $199.99, and it shares the Power’s listed processor, battery capacity and charging rate. Spend $100 more on the Moto G Power 2026 if you want its sharper FHD+ screen, twice the physical RAM, ultrawide camera and stronger stated water protection. This is a comparison of published specifications, not a claim that either phone was independently tested here.
What’s the difference between the Moto G 2026 and Moto G Power 2026?
The Moto G Power 2026 is the more feature-rich model, especially for display detail, multitasking, wide-angle photos and water resistance. The Moto G 2026 costs less and keeps several of the same core specifications. Both have a 120Hz LCD, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, 128GB of internal storage, a 5,200mAh battery and support for up to 30W wired charging.

1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIs the Moto G Power worth the extra $100?
Its announced U.S. MSRP is $100 higher than the Moto G’s, but the premium buys concrete upgrades rather than a faster named processor or a larger battery. The FHD+ resolution on the Power’s 6.8-inch display should make text and fine detail sharper than on the Moto G’s 6.7-inch screen. Both are listed at 120Hz, and Motorola advertises up to 1,000 nits for each.

- Long-lasting battery + TurboPower charging. Power through day after day with a 5200mAh battery, then get hours of power in just minutes.****
The Power also doubles physical RAM from 4GB to 8GB, adds an 8MP ultrawide rear camera, and carries stronger stated ingress-protection ratings. Those differences are most relevant if you multitask, want to fit more into a landscape shot, or place a high value on water protection. RAM Boost is a separate feature that uses storage as virtual memory; it does not change the listed physical RAM.
The Power is not listed with a processor, battery-capacity or charging-rate upgrade: both phones use the Dimensity 6300, have a 5,200mAh battery and support up to 30W wired charging. Motorola advertises up to two days of battery life, but that is a manufacturer claim dependent on use, not a guaranteed runtime for every owner.

Which phone is better for your needs?
Choose the Moto G 2026 if value matters most
- You want to pay less for everyday calls, messages, browsing, streaming and photos.
- The 6.7-inch HD+ display and 4GB of physical RAM fit your needs.
- You do not need the Power’s ultrawide camera or stronger stated water protection.
That makes the Moto G the value choice on listed price and hardware, not a claim based on comparative performance testing.

Storage, charging and durability details to check
Storage
Both models list 128GB of internal storage and support microSD expansion up to 1TB. A compatible card is optional; it may suit a large photo, video or offline-media library, but the listed internal capacity is the same on both phones.
Charging
Both phones list up to 30W wired charging. Motorola says a compatible TurboPower 33W-or-higher charger may be sold separately in some markets for the Power, while the device’s maximum charging rate is 30W. Check the package contents and charger compatibility for the specific market and listing rather than assuming an adapter is included.

Water and drop protection
The Power’s IP68/IP69 rating is a meaningful step up from the Moto G’s IP52 rating as stated by Motorola. These ratings refer to defined test conditions; they do not make either phone indestructible or guarantee protection in every real-world accident. Motorola also lists MIL-STD-810H and Gorilla Glass 7i for the Power, and Gorilla Glass 3 for the Moto G.
