Once fit is confirmed, choose the design that suits how you use the iPad, then check Apple Pencil support as a separate step. MoKo’s protection claims come from its product pages and manuals. No independent drop testing of these cases was available when this guide was written, so read “protective” as the manufacturer’s description rather than a measured result.
Confirm your exact iPad model number first
Screen size is not enough to identify a case fit. Two iPads can share a size label and still differ in model number, and a case built for one generation may not fit another. Find your number on the iPad itself:

- Open Settings, then tap General, then tap About.
- Read the Model Number line. It begins with the letter A, followed by four digits, for example A2696.
- Compare that number with the compatibility list on the case’s own product page or manual. Ignore the title, the “iPad” wording and the size label on the listing.
If the number does not appear in the list, the case is not a match, even when the photos look identical.
A compatibility example from a MoKo manual
A MoKo manual for model P723314021041 gives a clear example of how these lists are written. It names the following iPads and states that the case is not compatible with other iPad models.

Folio cases with multiple viewing angles
One MoKo product page describes a case with a Pencil holder, a hand strap and multi-angle viewing. The manual for model P723314021041 adds adjustable viewing and typing angles. This style suits people who prop the iPad up for video, reading or keyboard use. The hand strap helps when holding the iPad in one hand, but it adds some bulk, so consider whether you will use it.

Another MoKo listing describes a magnetic case that supports Apple Pencil charging and turns the iPad’s display on and off automatically as the cover opens and closes. This design fits readers who open and close the iPad often and want the Pencil kept with the case. Charging support applies only to the Pencil and iPad named in that listing.

Full-body protective cases
A heavy-duty MoKo listing describes a full-body design intended to protect the front, back and edges. Compared with a folio, it is aimed at people who carry the iPad in bags or move between locations. Check whether the listing includes a built-in screen protector. If it does not, budget for a separate film or glass protector, and confirm that it fits the same model number.
What the manual says the cases are made from
The manual for model P723314021041 describes a PU leather exterior, a microfiber lining and a translucent PC back. It also lists Apple Pencil charging support, Touch ID compatibility and auto wake and sleep. These are the manufacturer’s own specifications. They tell you what the case is built from, not how it performs in a fall or under pressure.

Apple Pencil: check it as a separate decision
- Confirm that your Pencil generation works with your exact iPad model before you rely on the case for it.
- A case may hold a Pencil, support charging, or do neither. Read the listing for the specific wording.
- Do not assume a Pencil is included with the case.
What protection claims do and do not establish
- Stated by the listings: materials, coverage, stand positions, Pencil features and, for the full-body design, protective intent.
- Not established: drop, scratch or impact performance. No independent comparative testing of these cases was available.
- Screen protection: decide whether it is integrated into the case or sold separately. A built-in protector and a separate film are not the same product.

Matching a design to how you use the iPad
- If the iPad mostly stays on a desk or table for typing, video or reading, a folio with multiple angles is the most direct fit.
- If you open and close the iPad many times a day and keep the Pencil close, a magnetic cover is worth comparing.
- If the iPad goes into bags daily or you want edge coverage, a full-body protective case is the design to check against the screen-protection question above.
