Why Infinity Ward issued the spoiler warning

Qualifying editions
- Standard Digital Edition: eligible for campaign early access when digitally pre-ordered or pre-purchased.

Xbox’s current product page says Modern Warfare 4 is not eligible for Xbox Game Pass. A Game Pass subscription should therefore not be treated as a route to the October 16 campaign access window or the October 23 launch version.
