As of October 2026, the available listings do not establish a reliably purchasable Android 4G phone at this budget. Check stock and the phone’s actual operating system before treating any listing as an option.
Is there an Android 4G smartphone under ₹4,000?
The listings reviewed do not establish a currently available Android smartphone that can be confidently recommended under ₹4,000. MySmartPrice’s Android-under-₹4,000 directory showed no results in the view last updated on October 6, 2026: MySmartPrice’s Android phones under ₹4,000.

That is evidence about the directory’s filtered results, not proof that no handset can ever be found at this price. Availability and prices can change, and a used or refurbished phone may be offered separately. Verify the specific seller’s live stock, final checkout price, condition, warranty, and returns before buying.

Why a 4G listing may not be an Android phone
“4G” describes mobile-network connectivity; it does not identify a phone’s operating system. Broad 4G lists can include feature phones as well as Android smartphones. HMD, for example, lists the HMD 101 4G Dual Sim and HMD 105 4G below ₹4,000 as feature phones. HMD describes the 101 as supporting 4G SIM cards and dual SIM, and documents cloud-hosted app shortcuts rather than Android. These models may suit basic calling needs, but they do not meet a requirement for an Android smartphone.

What the under-₹4,000 listings actually show
| Listing | What it says | What that means for a buyer |
|---|---|---|
| Nokia 1, 91mobiles listing (October 2026) | ₹3,799; Android v8.1; 1 GB RAM; 8 GB storage; marked out of stock. | The displayed price is not evidence of current availability. Treat it as an older listed example, not a purchase recommendation. 91mobiles Android phones under ₹4,000. |
| MySmartPrice Android-under-₹4,000 directory | No results in the price-filtered view; page last updated October 6, 2026. | The directory does not provide a current candidate in that view. MySmartPrice listing. |
| Realme C2s, Smartprix 4G-under-₹4,000 directory | ₹3,499; Android v9.0 (Pie); marked “Upcoming.” | An upcoming label is not confirmation that the phone is available to buy. Do not treat the listed price as a live offer. Smartprix 4G phones under ₹4,000. |
These entries illustrate why price filters need a second check: one is out of stock, another directory has no matching Android results, and an apparently low-priced model is marked upcoming. A broad 4G directory also includes non-Android feature phones, so its results cannot be read as an Android shortlist.

How to check a candidate before paying
- Confirm it is Android. Find the operating-system name and version on the manufacturer’s specification page or in the seller’s full listing. Confirm that the apps you need are supported; 4G capability alone does not establish either point.
- Verify live stock and the final price. Check the seller’s current product page and checkout total, including delivery or other charges. Do not rely on a directory’s displayed price, especially for an out-of-stock or upcoming listing.
- Check 4G network compatibility. Confirm the phone’s supported 4G bands against those used by your carrier in your location. The listings cited here do not settle band compatibility for a currently purchasable Android candidate.
- Assess memory and condition. Compare RAM and storage with your needs, and for a used or refurbished handset check battery condition and whether the listing clearly identifies the device’s condition.
- Review seller protections. Read the warranty and return terms, and check who is selling the device. Do not assume the protections for one listing or seller apply to another.
When a 4G feature phone may be enough
If you mainly need calls and basic 4G functions, an HMD feature phone may be worth considering at a sub-₹4,000 price point. Choose one only if its feature-phone operating system and available functions meet your needs. If you need Android apps, treat it as a different category rather than a low-cost Android substitute.
