The strongest Mobile Legends: Adventure heroes in the latest researched snapshot are faction-dependent. For version 696.0, updated September 17, 2026, the S-tier standouts include Angela, Atlas, Mystic Mystia and Sentient Alina in Tech; Omniversal Akashic, Heartcore Angela, Genesis Shar and Infinia Crocell among Order heroes; and Nightseer Esmeralda, Aeon Rista, Heartcore Angela and Mystic Mystia among Chaos choices. Use the lists below to find priority heroes in each of the game’s seven factions, then adjust for role, synergy and your progression stage.
How to read this faction tier list
Mobile Legends: Adventure groups heroes into seven factions: Elemental, Martial, Tech, Light, Dark, Order and Chaos. A hero’s faction affects team construction, so a lower-ranked character can still be the right choice when it completes a formation or supplies a missing role. S is the highest ranking in the Pocket Gamer snapshot, followed by A, B and C. A separate October 14, 2026 guide corroborates the current roster and uses an additional S+ label, so tier names are not perfectly standardized between guides.

The rankings are a dated snapshot rather than a permanent power rating. Pocket Gamer labels its list “Updated on September 17th, 2026 – Version: 696.0.” Gamer Empire’s January 6, 2026 list says its placements draw on the official Mobile Legends: Adventure Discord and community. Recheck rankings after balance patches, new releases or major skill changes.

How to choose whom to build first
- Start with your faction needs. Identify whether your current formation lacks durability, damage, control or support, then shortlist highly ranked heroes that fill that job.
- Prioritize complete teams over isolated ratings. The published guidance notes that the best team depends on faction and what you are trying to accomplish, so an S-tier hero without compatible allies may produce less progress than a well-supported A-tier option.
- Check duplicate investments. Several names appear in multiple factions or versions, including Angela, Esmeralda, Zhuxin, Kalea, Arlott, Clara, Mystia, Miya and others. Confirm the exact hero variant before spending scarce materials.
- Match spending to your mode and goal. Campaign progression, competitive play and faction-limited content can reward different lineups. Keep a flexible core instead of abandoning a functional team for a ranking change.
- Re-evaluate after patches. Version 696.0 is the reference point for the dated S-to-C list; later balance changes can move a character without changing its faction.
What the rankings do—and do not—tell you
- They provide relative tier placements, not measured win rates or damage benchmarks; no independently measured performance statistic is published with this snapshot.
- They are useful for narrowing upgrade candidates, not for guaranteeing a win or identifying one universal five-hero team.
- Faction, role, resource cost and synergy remain necessary comparison axes when two heroes share a tier.
- Order and Chaos have no C-tier entries in this list, while every other faction has at least one C-tier placement.
The Bottom Line
For the October 2026 snapshot, begin by checking S-tier heroes in the faction your roster needs—especially the four Tech standouts or the broad Order and Chaos pools—then build around team synergy and revisit your choices when the game leaves version 696.0.
