The last cited prices are dated: PriceHistory.app recorded $32.99 on September 2, while a September 25 report said Amazon’s direct stock had sold out and third-party sellers were asking $79.49. Where to buy the Minions Bob router for under $40
No verified October 7 Amazon offer establishes that the Davolink Minions Bob router is currently available for under $40. A historical price is not a live deal: PriceHistory.app recorded $32.99 for the Bob AX1800 listing on September 2, 2026, and notes that prices can vary with location, shipping and availability. On September 25, Mashable, in a report republished by Yahoo Tech, said Amazon’s direct inventory had sold out and third-party Amazon sellers were offering Bob for $79.49. That is a dated report, not a current quote. Read the September 25 report.

What the Minions Bob router is
Bob is a compact, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router in Davolink’s Minions-themed range—not just a router-shaped novelty. RTINGS reviewed the model and lists one 1 Gbps WAN port and one 1 Gbps LAN port, as well as standalone, repeater and mesh functions. Its review says Bob can pair with the taller Minions Kevin variant. Read RTINGS’ Davolink Minions Bob review.
The single LAN port matters if you expect to connect several wired devices directly: the cited specification does not show multiple LAN ports. RTINGS also distinguishes Davolink’s Easy Mesh from the Wi-Fi Alliance standard, so the word “mesh” alone should not be read as proof of Wi-Fi Alliance EasyMesh compatibility.

Bob vs. Kevin: which model is relevant?
| Model | Wireless specification | Wired ports cited | Buying relevance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minions Bob | Wi-Fi 6, dual-band | One Gigabit WAN and one Gigabit LAN | The compact AX1800 model tied to the under-$40 story; verify current price and seller. |
| Minions Kevin | Wi-Fi 6E, tri-band | Not stated in the cited sources | The related higher-spec option; RTINGS says it can mesh with Bob, but current price and stock are not verified. |
Choose based on the wireless generation and bands you actually need, the wired connections you require, and the delivered price—not the character design alone. Kevin is the Wi-Fi 6E tri-band counterpart, but the cited material does not establish that it is a better-value buy at current prices.
Why October Prime Day headlines don’t establish Bob’s price
Tom’s Hardware published an October 6, 2026 roundup of Amazon Prime Big Deal Days router offers, but the available page information does not verify a Minions Bob offer or its price. See the October 6 router-deal roundup.
