Best current choices: the 65-inch TCL C6K (listed at ₹68,656) gives you the largest Mini-LED screen close to this budget; the 55-inch Hisense E8S (₹50,490) is the most gaming-oriented option on the available specifications; Xiaomi MagiQ S (₹57,988) combines QD Mini-LED with Dolby Vision and a stated 1,200-nit peak; and TCL Q6CS models offer the lowest entry price for a 55-inch or 65-inch Mini-LED set. These are listing snapshots checked on 13 October 2026, not guaranteed selling prices. Confirm the exact model code, stock, seller, delivery, installation and warranty before paying.

A conventional 4K LED such as the Sony Bravia 2 II S25M2 can also fit below ₹70,000. Choose it when processing, familiar software or service matters more to you than Mini-LED local dimming.

Two separate listings show different prices for the Q6CS and other TCL models. That is normal when pages aggregate different sellers or promotions, so treat every figure as “as checked,” not as a universal market price.

What Mini-LED changes compared with ordinary 4K LED

Both categories can have a 4K panel and smart-TV functions. The difference is behind the panel. A conventional LED television uses a larger number of white or blue LEDs arranged in broad backlight zones. A Mini-LED set uses much smaller LEDs and many more independently controlled dimming areas. When a scene contains a bright subtitle on a dark background, those zones can dim around the subtitle instead of lifting the entire screen.

TCL India describes its Mini-LED approach as using smaller, precisely controlled LEDs and local dimming to improve contrast and brightness. That is a manufacturer description, not an independent measurement. More zones can reduce gray-looking blacks and increase HDR impact, but they do not guarantee the absence of blooming, uniformity problems or motion artifacts. No comparable independent laboratory results for blooming, sustained HDR brightness, upscaling or input lag were available for these Indian listings.

Mini-LED, QLED and 4K are not synonyms

  • 4K describes the 3,840 × 2,160 pixel resolution.
  • LED TV describes the backlight used behind an LCD panel.
  • QLED generally refers to a quantum-dot color layer; it can be paired with an ordinary LED backlight or Mini-LED backlight.
  • Mini-LED describes the smaller backlight emitters and local-dimming system, not a resolution.

Therefore, a conventional 4K LED such as the Bravia 2 II S25M2 can still be a sensible purchase. Select Mini-LED when contrast, HDR highlights and dark-room viewing are priorities rather than assuming that every 4K label includes it.

Best pick by the decision you are making

Best 65-inch Mini-LED near ₹70,000: TCL C6K

The 65C6K listing at ₹68,656 is only ₹1,344 below the budget ceiling and gives you the largest screen in this shortlist. It is listed as a 4K Mini-LED model with Dolby Vision, HFR, three HDMI ports and 3 GB RAM/32 GB storage. Choose it when your sofa is far enough away to benefit from 65 inches and you want HDR support without moving above the stated limit.

Because it uses nearly the entire budget, check whether delivery, wall mounting, extended warranty or installation fees are extra. Three HDMI inputs may be enough for a console, soundbar and set-top box, but verify which input supports eARC and the gaming bandwidth you need.

Best value 65-inch alternative: TCL Q6CS

The 65Q6CS listing is ₹63,999, leaving more headroom than the C6K. It is listed with 4K Mini-LED, Dolby Vision and 40 W audio. That lower price may reflect a different seller, promotion or product configuration; compare the full model code and warranty rather than assuming it is simply a lower-priced C6K.

Best gaming candidate on the published claims: Hisense E8S

The 55E8S is listed at ₹50,490 with Dolby Vision, four HDMI ports, two USB ports and Dolby Atmos. A separate guide describes this model as supporting 144 Hz, Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Those refresh and HDR claims are secondary-source descriptions, so verify the India model’s native panel rate, VRR range, ALLM behavior and supported resolution on the manufacturer page or the television’s specification sheet before purchase.

Roku 55-Inch Plus Series Smart TV - 4K QLED Mini-LED TV - RokuTV | Flat Screen Television with Dolby Vision & Wi-Fi for Streaming Live Local News, Sports - Enhanced Voice Remote
  • Breathtaking picture: Mini-LED backlighting brings out the rich detail on this 55" flat screen 4K TV, while the QLED screen and Dolby Vision technology create striking color and vivid highlights.
  • TV, simplified: With setup that only takes minutes, a simple-to-navigate Home Screen, and an uncluttered remote control that does all you need—Roku makes it easier to watch the TV you love.
  • A world of free entertainment: Enjoy a huge selection of free live TV, news, sports, movies, shows, and much more—all just a click away.
  • More streaming, less searching: With personalized picks right on your Home Screen, quick access to the sports and entertainment you watch most, and fast and easy search in one place—the days of endless scrolling are over.
  • Play before you press play: Experience TV’s biggest moments, find special collections across your favorite genres and interests, or add friendly competition to movie nights with interactive games. With Roku, TV is a lot more fun.

Four HDMI inputs make it easier to connect more devices, but port count alone does not prove HDMI 2.1 capability. Ask the seller which port accepts 4K at the target refresh rate, whether VRR works at that resolution and whether eARC shares a port with a console.

Best specification-led 55-inch choice: Xiaomi MagiQ S

The L55MC-IN listing is ₹57,988 and identifies a 4K Mini-LED television with Dolby Vision, four speakers and 34 W output. Xiaomi’s 2026 S Mini LED series page describes QD Mini-LED models in 55-, 65- and 75-inch sizes with 4K resolution, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and DLG 120 Hz.

The series specifications state 60 Hz and DLG 120 Hz, 92% minimum and 94% typical DCI-P3 coverage, 510 nits minimum, 600 nits typical and 1,200 nits peak brightness, plus 34 W audio. These are manufacturer specifications for the series. Match the 55-inch L55MC-IN code to the same specification page before applying every figure to your exact unit, and do not treat a peak-brightness number as sustained, independently measured brightness.

Lowest-cost route to Mini-LED: TCL Q6CS 55-inch

The 55Q6CS appears at ₹45,999 on a separate under-₹70,000, 55–65-inch listing. It is the least expensive Mini-LED entry in the supplied choices, but the difference between listing pages demonstrates why you should inspect seller, model suffix, panel size and warranty at checkout. A 55-inch set is easier to place in a smaller room and leaves money for a soundbar or a surge protector if those are not already included.

When a conventional 4K LED is the better choice: Sony Bravia 2 II S25M2

The K-55S25M2 is listed at ₹61,990 with 4K resolution, HDR, four HDMI ports, two USB ports and 20 W audio. It does not use Mini-LED backlighting. Consider it if you prefer a conventional LED model, need a particular smart-TV ecosystem or find better local service terms. Its lower backlight complexity does not automatically make picture quality worse; viewing distance, processing and room lighting matter as much as the label.

How to compare the shortlisted TVs

1. Match size to viewing distance and room

A 65-inch screen is the obvious draw of the C6K and Q6CS 65-inch listings, but size should follow your seating distance. Measure from your normal eye position to the screen, allow space for the stand or wall mount and check the television’s width against furniture. A 55-inch Mini-LED can be preferable to a cramped 65-inch display, especially if you sit close or watch lower-quality broadcast content that reveals compression.

2. Separate native refresh from motion modes

Refresh terminology needs careful reading. Xiaomi’s official specification explicitly lists “60Hz & DLG 120Hz,” which distinguishes a 60 Hz specification from a DLG mode. DLG can insert or process frames to present a higher-refresh mode; it is not automatically equivalent to a native 120 Hz panel. The Hisense E8S is described elsewhere as 144 Hz, while the exact Indian variant and operating conditions still need confirmation.

  • Native panel refresh rate.
  • 4K refresh support on each HDMI input.
  • Variable refresh rate (VRR) range and compatible formats.
  • Auto low-latency mode (ALLM).
  • Whether HDR remains available when VRR or the highest refresh mode is enabled.
  • Which port provides eARC for a receiver or soundbar.

3. Read HDR claims with the format and brightness together

Dolby Vision appears on the TCL C6K, Hisense E8S, Xiaomi MagiQ S and Q6CS listings. The Hisense guide also mentions HDR10+, while Xiaomi’s series page specifies both Dolby Vision and HDR10+. A format logo tells you what the television can decode; it does not establish how bright highlights will look or how accurately the set maps them.

Xiaomi’s 510-nit minimum, 600-nit typical and 1,200-nit peak figures illustrate why the measurement label matters. A peak value may apply to a small highlight for a short period, whereas sustained full-screen brightness can be lower. No independent sustained-HDR comparison was available for this shortlist.

4. Check local dimming behavior, not just the Mini-LED badge

Ask for the number of dimming zones, dimming controls and a return policy that covers visible uniformity issues when those details are published. Zone counts are not directly comparable across panel sizes or algorithms. In a dark room, inspect black bars, subtitles and star-field scenes for blooming; in a bright room, look for reflections and whether the screen maintains highlight visibility.

5. Count ports by how you actually connect equipment

Four HDMI ports on the Hisense E8S, Xiaomi listing and Sony alternative provide more flexibility than three on the TCL C6K, but the bandwidth and functions of each port matter more than the total. Draw up your devices—console, PC, soundbar or receiver, set-top box and streaming stick—and map one port to each. Confirm HDMI 2.1, eARC, USB playback and optical output requirements from the exact regional manual. The available listings do not establish every model’s port bandwidth or software-update policy.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

6. Treat audio specifications as a starting point

Listed output ranges from 20 W on the Sony model to 40 W on the TCL Q6CS, with 34 W on Xiaomi’s series specification. The Hisense listing includes Dolby Atmos, and TCL product information describes a 2.1-channel subwoofer setup on its Mini-LED information. Wattage does not measure dialogue clarity, bass extension or room-filling performance, so plan for a soundbar if your room is large or you want cinematic low-frequency effects. Ensure the TV has eARC if you intend to pass lossless formats to a compatible audio system.

Buying procedure: verify a listing before you place the order

  1. Copy the complete model code. Record codes such as 65C6K, 55E8S, L55MC-IN, 65Q6CS, 55Q6CS or K-55S25M2. Do not rely on a shortened series name.
  2. Compare the code with the manufacturer’s regional specification page. Confirm panel size, native refresh, HDR formats, HDMI functions, operating system and included accessories.
  3. Check the live price and seller. The figures above are snapshots from 13 October 2026. At checkout, compare the seller, taxes, delivery charge, installation terms and return window.
  4. Confirm service coverage at your postcode. Ask who performs installation, how dead pixels or transit damage are handled and whether the warranty is on-site or depot-based.
  5. Inspect the carton and panel on delivery. Photograph seals and visible damage before signing. Test for cracked glass, backlight damage, HDMI input operation and obvious uniformity problems during the return period.
  6. Set up the picture for your room. Disable excessive motion smoothing if it creates artifacts, select the correct HDR mode for each input and enable game mode only after checking its effect on VRR and HDR.

Budget and ownership checks that prevent expensive mistakes

  • Keep a reserve below ₹70,000. The C6K listing leaves only ₹1,344 before the ceiling, while the Q6CS 55-inch listing leaves substantially more for mounting or audio.
  • Do not infer a deal from a single page. The same Q6CS family appears at different prices on separate lists. The cheaper offer may have a different seller, delivery region, model suffix or warranty.
  • Verify installation and wall-mount hardware. A listing can show the television price without including a suitable bracket or paid installation.
  • Check return and replacement language. Policies may distinguish transit damage, dead pixels, cosmetic defects and performance complaints.
  • Confirm app and update support. The supplied listings do not establish software support periods for every model. Check that the services you use are available in India and that the remote has the controls you expect.
  • Use surge protection appropriate to your wiring. Large televisions contain sensitive power electronics; a properly grounded outlet and suitable protection reduce avoidable risk.

Which television should you buy?

Choose the TCL C6K 65-inch if your priority is maximum screen size and you can spend almost the entire ₹70,000. Choose the TCL Q6CS 65-inch when you want 65 inches with more budget headroom, subject to confirming the live offer. Choose the Hisense E8S for a 55-inch gaming-oriented shortlist, but verify the claimed 144 Hz, VRR and ALLM behavior for the Indian code. Choose Xiaomi MagiQ S if the QD Mini-LED, Dolby Vision/HDR10+ support and stated brightness figures appeal to you, after matching L55MC-IN to the series specifications. Choose the TCL Q6CS 55-inch when minimizing purchase cost is more important than screen size. Finally, choose the Sony Bravia 2 II S25M2 only if you specifically prefer a conventional 4K LED model and its service or software advantages outweigh the benefits you expect from Mini-LED local dimming.

None of these listings alone proves an objective winner for black levels, blooming, upscaling or input lag. The sensible purchase is the model whose verified size, native refresh, ports, warranty and current seller terms fit your room and equipment—not simply the one with the most impressive specification on a comparison page.
