If you want to wash and dry a load without splitting it, size the load for the smaller drying capacity. Miele’s October 2018 Australia brochure lists automatic TwinDos detergent dispensing, CapDosing, PowerWash 2.0 and SteamCare, but those feature names are not evidence of better results. Publicly accessible information supports a review of its specifications and ownership considerations—not a verdict on its real-world performance.
What kind of appliance is the WTZH730WPM?
It is a combined washer-dryer, rather than a washer that can dry its full wash load. Miele’s 2018 Australia brochure lists a maximum 8 kg wash capacity and 5 kg drying capacity. CHOICE’s model page also lists those capacities. For a continuous wash-and-dry cycle, plan around the 5 kg drying limit; a larger wash load would need to be reduced or dried in batches.

Miele lists a maximum spin speed of 1,600 rpm. The brochure also names TwinDos, CapDosing, PowerWash 2.0 and SteamCare. These are documented features, not proof of cleaning, drying, fabric-care or efficiency advantages over another machine.

How much space does it need?
Miele’s Australia brochure from October 2018 gives appliance dimensions of 596 × 850 × 714 mm (W × H × D) and a depth of 1,132 mm with the door open. CHOICE rounds the closed dimensions to 85 × 60 × 72 cm. Use the more precise brochure depth when checking a space, and allow for the door to open; confirm measurements and installation requirements against the manual for the exact regional model.

The brochure says the appliance can be slotted under a worktop, but not built under, and can be stacked. These are brochure-era, market-specific statements, not a substitute for checking the local installation documentation and site conditions.
What do the published water and energy figures mean?
Miele’s 2018 Australia brochure lists a four-star wash energy rating, a four-star WELS water rating, 73 litres of water for a wash and 21 litres of additional water for drying. These are brochure-reported figures tied to its stated test-program context, not a prediction of a household’s usage.

How TwinDos affects detergent choices and care
The model manual describes TwinDos as compatible with Miele’s two-phase system or conventional liquid detergent and/or fabric softener. Miele’s system uses UltraPhase 1 as a base detergent and UltraPhase 2 as a detergent enhancer, dispensed at separate points in the wash. The manual describes those cartridges as disposable.
To use conventional liquid detergent or fabric softener through TwinDos, the manual says refillable TwinDos containers are required. That gives owners an alternative to the disposable cartridges, but it also means considering which detergent setup suits their use and checking current local supply and compatibility.

Automatic dosing is not available for every program and detergent combination. The manual gives Woollens with the Miele 2 Phase System as an example. It also documents a TwinDos maintenance program for cleaning the containers and internal hoses, an ownership task worth keeping in mind if the automatic-dosing system is used.

CHOICE identifies a model review, but on the page reviewed its expert rating, recommendation status and detailed results are members-only. The restricted results include dirt removal, rinsing, gentleness, water and spin efficiency, wash and drying performance, cycle time, noise, total energy and water test results, and reliability and satisfaction scores. The accessible page therefore does not support a public performance score or comparative recommendation.

Is the WTZH730WPM currently available, and what does it cost?
CHOICE displays a price of $4,299, but that page value is not verified as a current retailer offer. Miele UK’s current washer-dryer category describes the product format but does not list this specific model in the reviewed result. The available information does not establish current stock, a live price or availability in any particular region.
Before considering a listing, verify that it is the exact WTZH730WPM model and check local electrical and water requirements, installation instructions, service coverage and warranty terms. Do not assume that a past or page-listed price applies to a present purchase.
