The Miele WTH 130 WPM is a washer-dryer with a 7 kg washing capacity and a smaller 4 kg drying capacity. That difference is the central buying consideration: a full wash load may need to be split before drying. Miele’s October 2018 brochure lists a 1,600 rpm maximum spin speed and features including TwinDos, CapDosing, PowerWash 2.0 and SteamCare, but those specifications do not establish how well the appliance performs in independent testing.
What the Miele WTH 130 WPM offers
The WTH 130 WPM combines a washing machine and dryer in one appliance. Miele’s Australia laundry-care brochure, dated October 2018, lists the model with a 7 kg wash capacity and a 4 kg dry capacity. It also records a maximum spin speed of 1,600 rpm and a honeycomb drum.

The same brochure lists TwinDos and CapDosing detergent systems, PowerWash 2.0, SteamCare, QuickPowerWash and a delay-start setting of up to 24 hours. These are published model features; they are not independent evidence of cleaning results, cycle duration, fabric care or drying performance.
Capacity: the main compromise
The wash and dry limits are different. You can wash up to the listed 7 kg capacity, but the stated drying capacity is 4 kg. If you want to wash and then dry a load without taking items out, plan around the smaller drying limit. A larger wash may need to be divided into separate drying batches.

This matters most in a household that routinely washes bulky or large loads and expects to dry them immediately in the same machine. Consider whether smaller drying batches fit your laundry routine before choosing a combined appliance.
Dimensions and installation fit
Miele’s brochure gives dimensions of 596 × 850 × 637 mm (width × height × depth) and a depth of 1,055 mm with the door open. Measure the available space, including room for the open door and access to the appliance; do not check only the cabinet or alcove depth.

The brochure indicates that the model can be slotted under a worktop, but not built under or stacked. Installation details should be verified against the rating plate and the correct manual for the exact appliance. The official Miele manual located for a similar name is for the WTF 130 WPM, not the WTH 130 WPM, so its installation and safety instructions should not be assumed to apply to this model.

TwinDos and CapDosing
Miele lists both TwinDos and CapDosing for the WTH 130 WPM. These are detergent-system features, but the brochure alone does not establish local cartridge availability, formulation or compatibility. Check that any detergent products you intend to use are suitable for the specific appliance and your region.
PowerWash 2.0, SteamCare and QuickPowerWash
These cycle and care features appear in the brochure’s specification row for this model. Without independent cycle testing or model-specific performance data, they should be treated as feature names rather than guarantees about cleaning, speed, crease reduction or results on particular fabrics.
1,600 rpm maximum spin speed
The brochure lists 1,600 rpm as the maximum spin speed. That is a manufacturer-published specification, not a measured result for every programme or load.

Water-use figures in Miele’s brochure
Miele’s October 2018 brochure table reports 64 litres of water per wash for the Cottons test programme and an additional 18 litres to dry clothes. These are brochure figures, not independent measurements or a current regulatory label. They are not enough on their own to calculate running costs: that would require relevant local utility tariffs and comparable data for the cycles and alternatives you would actually use.
