The Miele H 6267 BP is a discontinued 60 cm built-in oven with Moisture Plus steam, pyrolytic self-cleaning, a 76-litre cavity and more than 20 automatic programmes. Its specifications and installation dimensions are well documented. Its cooking performance is not something this article can judge: CHOICE’s expert rating and detailed test results for the model are members-only, so no claim about even baking, roasting or an overall score is made here.

How Moisture Plus works
Moisture Plus is Miele’s name for steam injection. Miele describes a small suction pipe in the door recess that draws water from a container you provide. You select the mode and the oven delivers steam from that supply.

The same release says steam is delivered in timed bursts. Some programmes control the timing automatically, while users can set the impulses manually. The release does not give water volumes per cycle or how often a refill is needed, so check the operating instructions before assuming the feature suits your cooking routine.
These are manufacturer descriptions. The sources reviewed do not include an independent test of how Moisture Plus affects browning, crust or moisture in food.

Pyrolytic cleaning and the BP-versus-B difference
The “P” in H 6267 BP refers to pyrolysis. Miele’s BP specification lists pyrolytic self-cleaning, a door lock during the cycle, an unheated catalyser and a hinged grill element. The related H 6267 B, without the P, is a different configuration. Miele’s H 6267 B fact sheet describes PerfectClean and catalytic enamelled liners, and a comparison brochure identifies pyrolysis on the BP but not the B. Always confirm the suffix on the rating plate or the appliance label before comparing listings.

Dimensions and installation fit
Use Miele’s niche dimensions as the starting point for planning. CHOICE’s figures use a different measurement set, and the two should not be treated as interchangeable.

CHOICE’s cutout figure contains the same three numbers as Miele’s appliance size, arranged in a different order. That suggests CHOICE uses a different convention, but the listing does not say how it labels the axes. Measure your own opening and compare it with the Miele minimum niche before ordering anything.
The electrical rating of 230 V, 16 A and 3.5 kW comes from Miele’s sheet. Check the rating plate on the unit you are buying and have a qualified installer confirm supply and ventilation requirements for your kitchen.

What independent test data is and is not available
CHOICE’s H6267BP page marks the model as a discontinued wall oven and lists its five shelf positions and an Australian price. It labels its expert rating, performance, grilling, oven heat distribution, roasting, pizza, usability, cleaning and preheat results as members-only. The visible page does not show any of those results, so this article cannot say whether the oven heats evenly, roasts well or earns a particular score.

Accessories and their compatibility
- HBBL60 perforated gourmet tray. Miele’s Culinart release names it for Moisture Plus ovens and explains that the perforations expose food to the steam. Confirm the part number and that it fits the H 6267 BP before buying.
- FlexiClip telescopic runners. The release describes these as features of the launch range. Check whether your unit includes them.
- PyroFit runners. The release says these can remain inside during pyrolysis, depending on the model. Confirm this in the operating instructions for your specific unit before running a self-clean cycle.
Launch and listed prices
Two price points are available, and both are historical. CHOICE lists an Australian price of A$4,699 on an undated listing, which is not a current quote. Miele South Africa’s Culinart release said the ovens would be available from November 2014 and listed the H6267BP at R24,999, with prices stated as at October 2014.
