Miele’s New Zealand listing provides useful fit and electrical figures, while its GB CleanSteel documentation names DirectSensor S controls, automatic programmes and rapid heat-up. Those are specifications and manufacturer-described features—not proof of cooking performance. No independent hands-on test or comparison is established here.
What the Miele H 7260 BP offers
Miele’s New Zealand shop lists this CleanSteel model with a 76-litre interior and five shelf levels. The GB CleanSteel technical sheet identifies the regional model as the H 7260 BP CulinArt and lists DirectSensor S sensor controls, automatic programmes, rapid heat-up and pyrolytic cleaning. Treat these as documented features; the phrase “rapid heat-up” is not an independently measured warm-up time.

Miele’s separate GB sheet for the Obsidian Black H 7260 BP lists Fan Plus, Auto Roast, Intensive Bake, conventional heat, bottom heat, fan grill and grill. It also documents a door lock during pyrolytic cleaning. That sheet concerns a different finish and product identifiers, so its details should not automatically be attributed to the NZ CleanSteel model.
Published dimensions and installation fit
The New Zealand product listing gives these appliance and niche dimensions:
#1 Best Overall
- 30 Inch Single Electric Wall Oven with AeroTech Convection, Pyrolytic Self Clean, Catalytic Smoke Eliminator, 9 Cooking Modes and 8 Rack Guides "Open BOX "
| Measurement | NZ listing |
|---|---|
| Appliance (H × W × D) | 595 × 596 × 569 mm |
| Cabinet niche (W × H × D) | 560–568 × 590–595 × 550 mm |
These figures are specific to the NZ listing. Before ordering, compare your cabinet with the installation drawing supplied for the exact regional model; do not rely on a product-page dimension alone. Have a qualified installer verify the required electrical supply and installation conditions against the locally supplied documentation.
The same NZ listing specifies 47 kg, an operating temperature range of 30–300 °C, a rated load of 3.6 kW, a 220–240 V supply and a 16 A fuse rating. These are listing values, not a substitute for checking the appliance’s local installation sheet and your home’s supply.

Cleaning, controls and cooking claims
Pyrolytic cleaning
Pyrolytic cleaning is the central convenience feature: Miele documents it for the CleanSteel version. The Obsidian Black GB sheet additionally specifies a door lock during the cleaning cycle. The available CleanSteel material does not establish that every regional finish or package has identical lock details, so check the manual for your exact model.
Controls and programmes
The GB CleanSteel sheet identifies DirectSensor S sensor controls and automatic programmes. It also lists rapid heat-up, but provides no independent timing results. The Obsidian Black sheet lists its own set of named cooking modes; consult the local CleanSteel documentation if a particular mode is essential to your cooking.

What comes in the NZ listing
The New Zealand listing names a universal tray, a pair of HFC 70-C FlexiClip telescopic runners, removable shelf runners, a grilling and roasting insert, and two baking and roasting racks. Accessory packages may vary by market or order. Confirm the contents of the exact appliance being sold before buying separate runners or trays; the NZ bundle should not be assumed to match another region’s package.
Regional model identity matters
The name H 7260 BP does not by itself establish identical finish, identifiers, software, installation details or box contents across markets. Miele’s GB CleanSteel technical sheet uses the name H 7260 BP CulinArt and lists EAN 4002516156802 and material number 11093490. The separate GB Obsidian Black sheet lists EAN 4002516877349 and material number 12763330. Confirm the finish and product identifiers on the local seller’s listing and order documents rather than using one region’s identifiers to identify another version.

What this evidence can—and cannot—tell you
The published specifications establish capacity, shelf count, listed dimensions and documented features. They do not establish how evenly this oven bakes, how accurately it holds temperature in use, its actual energy consumption or noise, its reliability, or whether it outperforms another oven. No independent comparative test or firsthand review was established for this article.

That is a small sample from the manufacturer’s regional shop, not a representative survey or a performance test, so it should not be treated as evidence of likely results for every buyer.
Checks to make before buying
- Measure the cabinet opening and compare it with the installation drawing for the exact regional model.
- Ask a qualified installer to check the local electrical supply and installation requirements.
- Confirm the finish, model name and product identifiers shown on the appliance you will receive.
- Verify the order-specific accessory bundle, especially whether FlexiClip runners and the trays or racks you want are included.
- Check local warranty, service availability and delivery arrangements with the seller.
- Compare alternatives on capacity and shelf layout, cleaning method, controls, cooking modes, included accessories, fit, electrical requirements, local price, warranty and service—not on feature names alone.
The available material does not establish a current price for this exact NZ CleanSteel model or a dealer price comparison. Miele UK’s catalog places the H 7260 BP in its oven range and describes a clear text display and pyrolytic cleaning, but does not provide independent performance evidence.
