Miele’s Australian sheet describes a straight fascia with programme selector buttons and a one-line text display. It specifies 14 place settings, a published operating-noise figure of 44 dB(A), an energy efficiency rating of 4.5 and a WELS water rating of 6. These are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent measurements.

Programmes and options
Miele lists ECO, Automatic, Intensive, QuickPowerWash, PowerWash, Gentle 45°C, Appliance care and ExtraQuiet programmes. The specification sheet marks Hygiene and SolarSave as unavailable. Listed options are Express, IntenseZone, Extra clean and Extra dry. AutoDos is not listed for this variant, so do not assume it has automatic detergent dispensing.

Drying and care for glassware
AutoOpen drying, SensorDry, the FreshWater dishwasher system and Brilliant GlassCare are among the features listed by Miele. The feature list describes what the manufacturer provides; it does not establish independent drying results or how the machine performs in a particular home.
Loading and controls
The CLST sheet specifies a 3D MultiFlex cutlery tray and ExtraComfort basket design, with a FlexCare glass holder and cup rack configuration of 2/1. It also lists a time-left display, delay start of up to 24 hours and ComfortClose. Miele@home and MobileControl are marked unavailable for this variant, so it should not be described as app-connected.

How efficient and quiet is it on paper?
The Australian Miele specification sheet gives water use of 9.2 litres per ECO cycle and annual ECO energy consumption of 189 kWh. CHOICE’s Australian model listing also gives 9.2 litres and a water rating of 6, but lists annual energy consumption as 186 kWh and an energy rating of 4.5. The annual energy figures differ; they should be treated as separate source-reported values, not combined or presented as one confirmed measurement.
Miele lists 44 dB(A) as the operating-noise specification. CHOICE’s measured noise result is behind its member-only fields, so the public listing does not establish an independent noise result. The same limitation applies to measured energy and water use, and programme time.

What does CHOICE’s review establish?
CHOICE’s public Australian page identifies the dishwasher and publishes some listing details, but its Expert Rating, washing and drying scores, energy-efficiency score, recommendation, reliability score and satisfaction score are member-only. The accessible page also does not expose the year tested. As a result, its public information cannot support a numerical review score, a claim that CHOICE recommends the machine, or a conclusion about independently tested cleaning and drying performance.
This matters when weighing the feature list: manufacturer specifications help describe capacity, programmes and equipment, while a review score or lab result would be needed to substantiate comparative performance claims. The public information available here does not provide those results.

Dimensions, connection and installation checks
CHOICE lists dimensions of 85 × 60 × 60 cm (H × W × D), a freestanding design and compatibility with a hot or cold tap connection up to 60°C. These figures are from its Australian listing. Miele’s Australian sheet gives electrical data of 2.2 kW, 230 V and 10 A. Confirm the exact model and local installation requirements before purchase; those Australian electrical specifications should not be transferred to a dishwasher intended for another market.

- Match the complete model suffix and finish on the appliance listing to the relevant specification sheet; do not rely on “G 7104” alone.
- Confirm electrical compatibility, connection arrangements and clearance requirements with the local retailer or installer.
Is it still available, and what did it cost?
CHOICE marks the model “Discontinued model” and displays A$2,349 on the page accessed in 2026. That page value is not a current offer, proof of live stock or a reliable guide to today’s Australian price. Availability may vary by retailer and region; check directly with local sellers and verify whether an offered appliance is the SC CLST, SCU or SCi variant.

CHOICE lists a two-year warranty. Check the written warranty terms that apply to the exact product and purchase location, since the listing alone does not establish current coverage for every seller or market.
How to compare it with another dishwasher
Compare the exact configuration, not just the family name. In particular, check installation type and dimensions, capacity and rack layout, independently measured washing and drying performance, noise, cycle water and energy use, drying method, connectivity, warranty, price and local stock. CHOICE names related G 7104 SCU CLST, G 7104 SCi, G 7104 BRWS, G 7154 SCVi, G 7314 SCi and G 7314 SCU models, but its public page does not expose comparative scores. Verify each alternative against its own model-specific specification sheet.
What owners should know about use and maintenance
Miele’s G 7104 SC CLST quick-start guide covers loading, detergent dosing, timer use, cleaning and care, spray-arm cleaning, filter checks, programmes and consumption estimates.
