Micromania France appears to have the most nostalgia-focused preorder reward for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Nintendo Switch 2: a replica Nintendo 64 game box designed to hold the modern Switch 2 case. The box is tied to participating midnight-launch locations, so it is not an automatic reward for every Micromania reservation.
What Micromania is offering
Notebookcheck reported on October 16, 2026, that customers reserving the Switch 2 remake through participating Micromania France stores can receive a replica N64 game box during a midnight launch event. Its black-and-gold styling echoes the packaging used for the original European release in 1998, while its dimensions are intended to hold the current Switch 2 game case.

That makes the box a display piece rather than a second copy of the game. The promotion is location-specific and stock-limited: a standard online reservation should not be treated as a guarantee that the box will be available, and a store must be taking part in the midnight event.

Micromania is also reported to list a different incentive for online preorders: a black-and-green wallet and a set of spiritual stones. Puissance-Zelda’s French comparison identifies those items as Micromania bonuses as well. They should not be conflated with the replica box; the available item depends on the purchase route, event participation and remaining stock.

How the French retailers compare
| Retailer | Reported bonus | Important conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Micromania | Replica N64-style box at participating midnight-launch locations; online package reported as a black-and-green wallet plus spiritual stones | The box is tied to selected launch events. Both offers are subject to retailer, location and stock rules. |
| Fnac | Ocarina keychain and two Door of Time coasters | Fnac’s product page instructs customers to add the game and both bonus items to the basket. The offer is subject to stock. |
| Carrefour | €10 voucher | Available for eligible online or in-store reservations under Carrefour’s redemption terms. The listed promotion includes November 2026 dates. |
| Amazon | No preorder bonus listed in Puissance-Zelda’s September comparison | That was the position at the time of that update; check Amazon’s live listing before ordering. |
Which bonus is best for you?
Choose Micromania for the strongest Zelda nostalgia
The replica box is the standout if you want something that recalls the 1998 N64 release. Its appeal is visual and collectible: it recreates the feel of the original packaging while accommodating the Switch 2 case. Because it depends on a participating midnight launch, confirm the exact store and collection procedure before relying on it.
Choose Fnac for a compact collectible set
Fnac’s keychain and Door of Time coasters are smaller, practical items. The unusual requirement is the basket setup: the official listing says to add the game, the keychain and both bonus items to the same basket, with availability dependent on stock. Leaving one item out can mean the promotion does not apply.

Choose Carrefour when credit matters more than merchandise
Carrefour’s €10 voucher is the only offer in this comparison that directly reduces the value of a later purchase. It is credit, not a physical Zelda collectible, and it comes with eligibility and redemption conditions. Read the dates and qualifying reservation rules before assuming the full €10 is immediately usable.
Check Amazon only after verifying the live page
The September comparison cited by Puissance-Zelda showed the physical game without a preorder bonus on Amazon. Retail listings can change, so treat that as a dated snapshot rather than a permanent policy.

Release date and availability checks
The remake is scheduled for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. Retailer promotions can change before launch because quantities, participating stores and online inventory are separate. Before paying, check:
- Whether the reservation is for the Nintendo Switch 2 edition, not another platform or edition.
- Whether your selected Micromania store is hosting the midnight launch and has confirmed the replica box allocation.
- Whether the wallet-and-stones package applies to your specific online order and collection method.
- Whether Fnac has placed the keychain and both coasters in your basket and still marks them as available.
- Whether Carrefour’s €10 voucher applies to your reservation channel and can be redeemed under the stated November 2026 dates.
- Whether Amazon’s current product page shows a bonus before you complete checkout.
Can you get these bonuses outside France?
Nothing in the reported offers establishes international availability. These are French retailer promotions governed by individual store locations, French online listings, event participation and stock. A buyer outside France should not assume that Micromania’s box, wallet, spiritual stones, Fnac’s items or Carrefour’s voucher will ship internationally, or that an imported order will qualify. Confirm cross-border delivery and promotion eligibility directly with the retailer before ordering.

Bottom line for preorder shoppers
Micromania’s replica N64 box is the most distinctive French bonus documented so far, particularly for collectors who want packaging that recalls the original 1998 release. It is not a universal Micromania entitlement: the box belongs to participating midnight-launch events, while the wallet and spiritual stones are a separate online incentive. Fnac offers the clearest accessory bundle, and Carrefour may deliver more practical value through €10 of credit. With release set for November 5, 2026, the safest choice is the retailer whose exact location, basket contents and stock terms you can verify at checkout.
