Metro Redux is the two-game bundle of Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux. The Xbox Store listing says it includes both campaigns, downloadable content and 10 hours of bonus content. That is the publisher’s content description, not a guaranteed playtime for every player. It does not include Metro Exodus or that game’s expansions.
What is included in Metro Redux?
- Metro 2033 Redux: the remastered edition of the first game.
- Metro: Last Light Redux: the remastered edition of the second game, with previously released DLC included, according to PLAION.
- Bonus content: the Xbox bundle listing describes all downloadable content and a further 10 hours of bonus content. PLAION describes 10 hours of bonus single-player content for Last Light Redux. These are promotional content-duration claims, not independently measured playtime, and should not be added together as a 20-hour guarantee.
The product descriptions reviewed do not enumerate every Last Light DLC item by name, so the safest description is that the Redux edition includes its previously released DLC rather than a speculative episode-by-episode list. Xbox Store: Metro Redux; PLAION: Metro: Last Light Redux.

How the Redux editions differ from the original games
Redux editions are remastered versions of the earlier games. In its 2014 announcement, PlayStation said Metro 2033 was rebuilt in 4A Games’ latest engine and that gameplay, AI, gunplay and graphics improvements were applied across both titles. The announcement also specified 1080p and 60 frames per second for PS4 at launch; that historical PS4 specification is not a performance guarantee for every platform or current version. What are Spartan, Survival and Ranger modes?
Spartan and Survival play styles
The games offer Spartan and Survival play styles. Nintendo characterizes Survival as a slower, survival-horror approach and Spartan as more combat-focused. PLAION similarly describes Survival in Last Light Redux as turning its action-oriented stealth combat into a slower fight for survival. Nintendo UK: Metro 2033 Redux; PLAION: Metro: Last Light Redux.

Physical copies and purchase checks
The 2014 PlayStation announcement confirms that a boxed PS4 double pack was announced, but it cannot confirm today’s availability or the contents of every country’s box. For a physical listing, check that it names the platform and the two Redux games you expect, and confirm whether it is a double pack rather than a single title. For digital purchases, compare the bundle with any individual game you already own; current prices and availability depend on store and region.
