4A Games has confirmed a METRO 2039 Collector’s Edition with a full-scale replica of the Stranger’s helmet. The reported three-edition lineup and €299.99 European Collector’s Edition price are not yet official: a report by OpenGeek on 10 October 2026, summarizing Dealabs, attributed those details to a leak and said 4A Games and Deep Silver had not announced prices or full contents.
What is confirmed about the Collector’s Edition?
4A Games says the Collector’s Edition will be available to preorder later in 2026 and will include a full-scale replica of the Stranger’s helmet. The studio says it was recreated from the game’s 3D model, with integrated gas-mask components and custom details, including scratches, scuffs and signs of wear. 4A Games’ official announcement does not confirm the edition’s price or the complete contents.

What editions and prices have been reported?
OpenGeek’s 10 October 2026 report, summarizing Dealabs, describes three editions and gives separate prices for Europe and the UK. These figures are reported, not publisher-confirmed prices; they should not be assumed to apply in other regions or to represent confirmed Italian pricing.
| Reported edition | Europe | UK | Reported contents |
|---|---|---|---|
| Day One | €69.99 | £59.99 | Base game on disc, with an internet download required, plus preorder DLC. |
| Deluxe | €109.99 | £94.99 | Day One contents, cardboard box, Steelbook, hardcover artbook, digital artbook, digital soundtrack and story expansion. The reported digital items would be supplied as download codes. |
| Collector’s | €299.99 | £259.99 | Reported Deluxe contents plus a wearable Spartan helmet replica. 4A Games has independently confirmed a full-scale Stranger’s helmet replica, but not this complete bundle. |
All three rows reflect details attributed to Dealabs by OpenGeek’s report. The full bundle contents and listed prices remain unconfirmed by the publisher in that report.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
What physical formats are described?
The report distinguishes console editions from PC packaging: console Day One copies are described as including a game disc, although an internet download is also required. PC editions are reported as code-in-a-box rather than discs; the report did not establish which PC platform the code would use. It describes a cardboard box and Steelbook as part of the reported Deluxe bundle, but the official announcement only confirms the helmet replica as a Collector’s Edition item.
When might preorders begin?
4A Games’ official post placed preorders later in 2026. OpenGeek says the studio’s account indicated the week of 12–18 October 2026; Dealabs reportedly pointed to 13 October as the likely date and 14 October at the latest. Those specific days are reported expectations, not a confirmed exact preorder date in the sources cited here. OpenGeek also says availability was expected through customary French retailers and could vary by retailer.

What buyers should verify before ordering
- Check the publisher or a live retailer listing for the final regional price; the €299.99 figure is a reported European price, not an official universal price.
- Confirm the contents of the exact edition and region. The reported Deluxe and Collector’s bundles have not been fully confirmed by 4A Games or Deep Silver in the cited coverage.
- Check the platform’s physical format and download requirements. The report describes console discs that still require an internet download and PC code-in-a-box editions.
- Do not assume the helmet is sold separately. The official announcement places it in the Collector’s Edition, and the cited sources do not establish a separate sale.
