Megabit and Aska Studios have announced a publishing partnership for Gang of Frogs, a co-op shooter in development. The companies describe it as playable solo or with up to three friends, with an Early Access release planned for 2027; no exact date or price has been announced.
Who is making and publishing Gang of Frogs?
Aska Studios is developing Gang of Frogs, and Megabit is its publishing partner. The announcement describes Megabit as the publishing arm of Aonic. Aska Studios’ official site also presents the project as a one-to-four-player co-op shooter.
Megabit CEO Jonathan Hales said, “We’re thrilled to be working with Aska on Gang of Frogs,” according to the announcement. This is the publisher’s description of the partnership, not an independent assessment of the game.
What kind of game is Gang of Frogs?
Aska Studios calls it a “Co-op shooter with a deckbuilder meta game.” Players take the roles of cloned mercenary frogs. The announcement and studio description point to a mix of third-person shooting, roguelite runs, deckbuilding, loot and upgrades.
