Meesho’s prospectus, dated December 5, 2025, set the IPO offer price at ₹111 per share, with a face value of ₹1 per share. That price applied to the offering; it does not indicate what the stock trades for now. The IPO covered 488,396,721 equity shares, combining a fresh issue and an offer for sale, for an aggregate offer amount of ₹54,212.04 million.
How to compare quotes responsibly
- Check that the security is Meesho Limited and the exchange is NSE or BSE.
- Record the date and time. A last traded price during market hours is not the same as an official closing price.
- Use the same trading session and price field when comparing the two exchanges; a difference between timestamps or fields can make figures appear inconsistent.
- For historical comparisons, use matching date ranges and distinguish a rupee change from a percentage change.
What is Meesho’s trading volume?
Trading volume is the number of shares traded during a stated period. A daily volume figure should identify its date, exchange and session; volume on NSE alone is not automatically the same as combined NSE-and-BSE activity.

Volume can show how much trading occurred, but a high-volume day by itself does not explain why the share price moved. To assess a change, compare volume with a suitable historical baseline and check the timing of company disclosures or other relevant information. Price and volume are observations, not proof of a cause.

Why is Meesho’s share price moving?
A price move shows that the market is valuing the shares differently than at an earlier point; it does not, on its own, identify the reason. To investigate a particular session, first verify the exchange, date, opening or closing field, and the size of the move. Then check dated company disclosures and results for information released around that time.
Do not assume that a move was caused by a company announcement, results, or investor sentiment unless the timing and evidence support that explanation. A single price change or volume spike cannot establish causation.

Does the IPO price or company scale tell you whether to buy?
No. The ₹111 IPO offer price is a dated transaction term, while user, seller and order figures describe reported marketplace activity. Neither alone establishes the company’s current valuation, future returns, or whether a share is suitable for a particular investor. Those judgments require current market data and an assessment of the company’s financial position, prospects, risks and the investor’s own circumstances.
