There is not enough published evidence to name the best characters in Marvel Rivals’ Avengers: Infinity War PvP mode. The official Season 10.5 notes describe a six-duo, 12-player event in which two squads face off each round and race to collect all six Infinity Stones. They do not identify the mode’s selectable heroes or report character performance. How the Avengers: Infinity War PvP mode works
Marvel Rivals’ official Season 10.5 patch notes, published October 6, 2026, describe “Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Infinity War” as a 12-player event made up of six two-player squads. Each round pits two squads against each other. The goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones before the opposing duo.

Not from the available official information. The patch notes do not state which heroes are eligible for this mode, and they do not provide character-level results. Naming particular heroes as top picks would therefore be speculation, not a supported recommendation.

The official Hero Hot List shows pick-rate and win-rate fields for Quickplay and Competitive, but the reviewed page does not show Infinity War mode data. Its displayed update time is 24/12/30, so it is not a sound basis for a current ranking in this new event.
How to judge a pick once you can check the event roster
First confirm in the live game that a character is selectable. Then evaluate the pick against the mode’s actual duo objective rather than importing a general-mode tier list. These are practical criteria inferred from the published rules, not official character ratings:

- Duo coordination: Does the character’s role or abilities complement what your partner is doing?
- Stone collection: Can the pair create opportunities to reach and secure stones?
- Stone contests: Can the character help your duo challenge the opposing squad when both teams are pursuing the objective?
- Round performance: Does the choice help your team complete the head-to-head objective, rather than simply perform well in unrelated situations?
For a credible character comparison, record the eligible roster, the patch or build, event dates, platform, and enough matches to distinguish a repeatable pattern from a single outcome. Keep personal observations separate from the mode’s official rules; until mode-specific results are available, treat any claimed “best” pick as an individual preference rather than a proven ranking.
What the broader Path to Doomsday story does—and does not—tell you
In a March 16, 2026 D23 interview, Marvel Games executive producer Danny Koo said Path to Doomsday would revisit scenes from The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, with Loki connecting the events. That is context for the wider event, not evidence that Loki is playable or especially effective in this PvP mode.
The Season 10.5 notes also list an Infinity Gauntlet accessory and Infinity War-inspired costumes as in-game content. Those cosmetics do not establish which characters can be selected or how well they perform.
