Pocket Gamer’s September 2, 2026 Mario Kart Tour tier list places drivers including Luigi (Classic), Toadette (Explorer), and Rosalina (Swimwear) in S tier. It is an editorial snapshot for version 3.7.0, not a Nintendo ranking—and Nintendo ended the game’s service on September 29, 2026, U.S. Pacific time (September 30 in Japan).
How to read this Mario Kart Tour tier list
Pocket Gamer says it ranks drivers by “viability and popularity.” The page does not publish a scoring formula or a reproducible driver-by-driver dataset, so its tiers are best read as that publisher’s editorial judgments rather than measured results. The skill descriptions are also the article’s explanations, not independent tests.

The list can answer which drivers Pocket Gamer rated highly near the end of the game’s service. It does not establish one universally best driver across every course, mode, player level, or account build. Nintendo describes the pre-closure game as featuring collectible, upgradeable drivers, karts, and gliders; account-specific usefulness could therefore differ from a broad tier placement (Nintendo’s game page).
