- Check the deed date and certificate. Confirm that the transfer deed was executed before 1 April 2019 and that the original certificate is available.

- Submit the request by the stated closing date. The company’s notice gives 4 February 2027 as the end date for this window.

What happens after a transfer is accepted?
Any securities transferred under the window must be credited to the transferee only in demat mode. They are subject to a one-year lock-in beginning on the date the transfer is registered. During that period, the shares cannot be transferred, lien-marked or pledged. The notice does not promise acceptance or specify a processing time.

How this differs from SEBI’s 2025 re-lodgement window
The 2025 window was a separate measure for transfer deeds that had already been lodged before 1 April 2019 and then rejected, returned or left unattended because of document or process deficiencies. SEBI’s circular provided six months, from 7 July 2025 through 6 January 2026, for those re-lodgements. That period has ended.
