The 13.6-inch, 16GB/512GB model is listed at ₹1,49,900 with a displayed “Buy at” price of ₹1,45,900. The card offers shown next to it are ₹4,000 each. None of that adds up to ₹24,900. Treat that number as a claim until your own checkout screen shows it.
What Flipkart’s pages actually show
The Flipkart listing for the Apple MacBook Air M5 (2026), 13.6-inch, 16GB memory and 512GB SSD shows these items separately:
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
| Item | What the listing shows |
|---|---|
| List price | ₹1,49,900 |
| “Buy at” price | ₹1,45,900 |
| Bank-card offers | Two offers of ₹4,000 each, plus smaller cashback entries |
| Exchange | A value that depends on your pincode |
Card offers and exchange values are conditional. They apply only if you pay with a qualifying card, or trade in a qualifying device at an accepted valuation. They are not a price cut everyone gets.

Why ₹24,900 doesn’t check out
A ₹24,900 saving off the ₹1,49,900 list price would mean paying ₹1,25,000. Off the ₹1,45,900 “Buy at” price, it would mean ₹1,21,000. Neither figure appears on the pages we saw.

The ₹24,900 could be a bundle of conditional benefits, such as a card offer, an exchange bonus and membership perks added together. Or it could be a sale-day price that Flipkart has not yet published. We can’t tell which, and we found no official statement from Flipkart or Apple explaining it. Searching for the exact amount turned up unrelated ₹24,900 results and a third-party seller listing, not independent confirmation.
For reference, India Today reported on July 22, 2026 that the same laptop had an effective price of ₹1,39,900 from a ₹1,49,900 retail price, using a ₹10,000 bank-card offer. That was a different promotion in a different month. It shows how card-linked “effective prices” work, but it says nothing about what the October sale will offer.

Sale dates and access
- General access: Flipkart’s sale page gives October 9, 2026 as the start for all shoppers.
- Early access: Flipkart Plus and VIP members get access from midnight on October 8, 2026.
The sale page mentions eligible bank-card discounts, SuperCoins and no-cost EMI, all subject to terms and conditions. These are general event statements. They don’t confirm that any of them applies to this MacBook configuration.
How to work out your real price
- Open the listing and select the exact variant: 13.6-inch, 16GB, 512GB. A 1TB or 15-inch model is a different product and won’t have this price.
- Note the list price, the “Buy at” price and each card offer as separate numbers.
- Enter your pincode. The exchange value changes with location, and the seller and delivery terms can too.
- Check each card offer’s eligibility, minimum spend and maximum discount. Check whether it covers EMI as well as full payment.
- Go to the final checkout screen. The amount payable there is the only price that counts.
- If you plan to trade in a device, treat the exchange value as a separate transaction. It depends on your old device and isn’t a discount on the MacBook.
Should you buy now or wait?
Waiting makes sense only if you’re prepared to check the sale-day price. The listing already shows a ₹4,000 reduction from list price, and card offers can already be stacked on it. Buying before the sale gives up only whatever extra the event adds. If the sale-day checkout total beats the current one by more than the ₹4,000 card tiles, waiting would have paid off. If it doesn’t, you lose nothing by buying early. Early access from midnight on October 8 lets members see the real numbers a day sooner.

Comparing other sellers
Imagine Online lists a 13-inch MacBook Air M5 with 16GB/512GB and describes itself as an Apple-authorised reseller. We could not confirm that its price or terms beat Flipkart’s. When you compare any two sellers, match these:
- Screen size, memory and storage
- Seller identity and warranty
- The unconditional price, before any card offer
- Card eligibility and discount caps
- The final amount payable
The Bottom Line
Don’t plan around ₹24,900 until you see it at checkout. The only verified numbers are ₹1,49,900 list, ₹1,45,900 “Buy at” and ₹4,000 card offers. Compare the final payable amount for the exact 16GB/512GB model, using a card you actually hold.
