Where has Mabinogi Mobile launched?
The confirmed launches and announcements show a market-by-market expansion, not worldwide availability. Nexon’s March 2026 presentation said the company planned to introduce the game in Japan and Taiwan later that year. In June, Nexon announced service for Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau from July 22, describing that expansion as the game’s first global expansion. Japan followed on October 7. These announcements do not establish a launch date for other countries or confirm current availability in every territory.

What is Mabinogi Mobile, and is it free?
Nexon describes Mabinogi Mobile as an online RPG in the Mabinogi franchise, developed by devCAT and published and operated by Nexon. The Japanese launch materials highlight a rebuilt story, an interface and controls designed for mobile, community features, character customization, combat, cooking, and housing. Can you play on PC and mobile with the same account?
For the Japanese service, the supported options are the iOS or Android app and Windows PC. Nexon says the app and PC versions can use the same account, but its service notice also flags an issue that can prevent some players from switching between the versions. Account sharing is therefore intended, but switching may not work for everyone. Check the current official service notice and its linked FAQ or issue information for current guidance.

What do the launch numbers mean?
Nexon reported more than 200,000 Japanese preregistrations on September 17, before launch. Its October 7 live-service notice said the figure had reached 300,000. Separately, Nexon reported approximately 4 million downloads for the 2025 Korean launch and first-place Apple App Store and Google Play rankings.
