The Lumie Bodyclock Shine 300 was reported at £109.99 on Amazon UK on October 2, 2026, down from a stated £149. That is a reported saving of about 26%, but the price and availability have not been independently confirmed for October 3. The deal is worth considering if you want a bedside alarm with a long, adjustable sunrise and built-in audio; it is less compelling if you only need a basic sunrise alarm.
What the reported deal includes
T3’s October 2, 2026 deal article by Bethan Morgan identified the product as the Lumie Bodyclock Shine 300 and reported an Amazon UK price of £109.99, compared with a stated former price of £149. T3 described that as a 26% saving and noted that the offer appeared ahead of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days. These are dated deal details, not a confirmation of the live listing, stock or price on October 3.

The recommendation in T3’s headline is the publication’s editorial judgment, not a clinical finding. Morgan also wrote that she had used a wake-up light for almost two years and that it had changed her morning routine; that is her personal experience, not a guaranteed result for other users.

What the Shine 300 does
The Shine 300 is a bedside sunrise alarm: its light gradually brightens before the set wake-up time, with sounds available at the alarm time. T3’s deal article reports sunrise and sunset cycles of up to 90 minutes, adjustable lighting and sounds, and radio functionality. Lumie’s product-range information specifies a selectable 15–90-minute cycle, 15 sounds, FM radio, tap-control snooze, adjustable light intensity, and daily or weekly alarms.
#1 Best Overall
- THE BEST WAY TO WAKE UP: Wake up naturally with sunrise for better mood, energy and motivation
- PERSONALIZED SUNRISE/SUNSET: 15-90 minute sunset/sunrise duration, a choice of 15 sleep/wake sounds or FM radio
- OPTIMIZED FOR SLEEP: LEDs with reduced-blue light content help create an environment where sleep comes easily
- BETTER SLEEP HYGIENE: Establish a healthy screen-free evening routine and fall asleep easier with a fading sunset
- AUTO-DIMMING DISPLAY: Light-sensitive digital clock face
The gradual light and audio are features, not proof that this particular model improves sleep or treats a health condition. The cited deal article and Lumie feature descriptions do not establish a medical benefit for the Shine 300.
How it compares with Lumie’s other lights
The practical distinction is how much choice and bedside audio you want. Lumie’s range information describes these options:

| Model | Sunrise or sunset | Light and audio features | Price information in cited sources |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bodyclock Shine 300 | Selectable 15–90 minutes, according to Lumie | 15 sounds, FM radio, adjustable light intensity, tap snooze and daily/weekly alarm, according to Lumie | £109.99 at Amazon UK versus a stated £149 former price in T3’s October 2, 2026 deal article; live price not confirmed |
| Lumie Sunrise Alarm | 30-minute cycle, according to Lumie | Ten white-light levels, six colour options and six wake sounds, according to Lumie | £49.98 on Lumie’s product page when the result was crawled; not a live price check |
| Lumie Rise 100 | 30-minute sunrise/sunset, according to Lumie | Adjustable sunrise intensity, optional beep, tap snooze, fade-to-off and nightlight modes, according to Lumie | Not stated in the cited Lumie range information |
| Lumie Luxe 750DAB | Selectable 15–90 minutes, according to Lumie | DAB radio, Bluetooth speaker and other premium features, according to Lumie | Not stated in the cited Lumie range information |
The Sunrise Alarm is the simpler, lower-priced alternative in the cited manufacturer listing. The Shine 300’s longer selectable cycle and radio/audio options are the reason to consider the step up, rather than evidence that its extra features will necessarily make waking easier. The Luxe 750DAB adds DAB and Bluetooth according to Lumie’s range information; the cited sources do not provide a price comparison for it.
Is the Shine 300 the right kind of light?
Choose a sunrise alarm if you want a bedside wake-up routine
The Shine 300 is the relevant option if you want a dedicated alarm that can brighten gradually, offer different sounds, and provide FM radio. A simpler Lumie alarm may make more sense if you do not need its longer cycle or radio features.

Do not confuse it with a light therapy box
T3’s deal article also listed the separate Lumie Vitamin L light therapy box at £62.99 on Amazon, against a stated £99 original price, and described a 36% saving. T3 said it produces 10,000 lux at 20 cm and described daily use; those performance and use claims have not been independently verified here. The Vitamin L is a separate portable light therapy product, not a sunrise alarm or an alternative model of the Shine 300.

What to check before buying
- Open the UK Amazon listing and confirm that the product is the Bodyclock Shine 300, not another Lumie model.
