That is a source-specific ranking, not an official rating or a guarantee that the same six will be best for story progression. Story teams also need useful coverage, survivability, and skills that fit the encounters ahead.
How to read this Lumi Master tier list
This ranking is Arena-first, with story usefulness considered separately. Loadoutgg says its October list weighs Arena ladder performance before story and harder modes, taking into account signature-skill power and cost, traits, swappable skills, stat ceilings, and type vulnerabilities. Its tiers describe practical roles: S-tier Lumis can anchor a team or win fights on their own, A-tier picks have a clear limitation, and B-tier picks can perform well in the right team. Loadoutgg’s October 2026 list identifies its assessment as based on version 1.5.3 launch numbers.

These are editorial judgments, not official in-game grades. The game listing describes seasonal updates and weekly activities, and the early rankings have already changed as Arena results and team usage shifted. Treat the placements below as a snapshot dated October 7, 2026, rather than a permanent investment order.
Top Lumi picks for Arena
| Tier | Lumis | What the placement means |
|---|---|---|
| S | Meteofly, Gambir, Charigon, Floragon, Rainbowdeer, Zaphound | BlueStacks’ launch-meta list places these six in S tier. They are strong starting candidates, but team fit and matchup still matter. |
| A or higher in updated placements | Floragon, Charigon, Xuan Wu, Zhu Que | Loadoutgg reports Floragon and Charigon rising from A to S on September 23 after Arena results and winning-team usage; Xuan Wu and Zhu Que also moved up. |
| A | Jolkat | Loadoutgg moved Jolkat from S to A, saying Zaphound made stronger use of the paralysis setup. |
The S-tier row reflects BlueStacks’ launch-meta list, while the movement notes come from Loadoutgg’s later update. The disagreement is meaningful: Mobi.gg’s September 22 list also names S-tier picks, but includes different choices such as Clionia, Cyclodoge, Dullahan, Lycanite Variant, and Otterknight. Mobi.gg weighs roles and elements more broadly, including household role, so its scope differs from an Arena-first ranking.

Which Lumi should you raise first?
Start with the Lumi that fills a gap in your current team and can contribute across the mode you play most. An S-tier label is useful evidence of a strong option, but does not make every lower-ranked Lumi a poor investment: the tier criteria explicitly allow for conditional team utility.
- Choose your priority mode. If you spend most of your time in Arena, favor the updated Arena placements and consider how the Lumi’s skills interact with common opposing setups. For story progression, prioritize a lineup that can handle varied encounters rather than selecting only from an Arena ranking.
- Check the kit before spending resources. Compare signature-skill effect and cost, trait, swappable skills, stat ceiling, and type vulnerabilities. A powerful effect can be less useful if its cost or matchup makes it difficult to use consistently.
- Build for the team, not the tier label. A role player can be worth raising if it supplies a counter, coverage, or setup your other Lumis lack. The rankings describe performance in context, not a requirement to chase only S tier.
- Recheck after balance or seasonal updates. Early placements have already shifted with Arena results and team usage; the game’s listing also promotes seasonal updates and weekly activities.
Why Arena and story rankings can differ
Arena evaluates how a Lumi performs against player-built teams and recurring competitive setups. Story usefulness is broader: a Lumi that counters a specific Arena strategy may offer less value across a varied run, while a flexible team member may help in story without being a top ladder pick. The available lists do not provide a separate, complete story-only ranking, so use their Arena placements as a starting point rather than a definitive story order.

Matchups and team synergy matter
Loadoutgg gives two examples of matchup utility. Xuan Wu resists Fire damage and removes Burn. Zhu Que’s Sacred Fire clears Leech and Paralysis effects used by Floragon, Thornbloom, and Zaphound. Those tools can make a Lumi more valuable in the right matchup even if raw tier placement is not the only deciding factor.

Loadoutgg focuses first on Arena ladder results and combat factors. Mobi.gg takes a broader view that includes roles beyond combat. BlueStacks’ six-Lumi S-tier grouping is explicitly a launch-meta snapshot. These lists are useful references, but they should not be collapsed into a single claim of universal consensus.

How current is the roster information?
Published counts differ by source and date. LumiMaster.org reports 246 Lumis and 17 elemental types in an editorial review dated October 5, 2026; Loadoutgg refers to 256 Lumi using version 1.5.3 launch numbers; and BlueStacks says more than 250 Lumis were available at the worldwide launch on September 17, 2026. These figures use different contexts, so no single exact roster total is established here. LumiMaster.org is a companion reference, while the Google Play listing identifies the game as a free creature-collecting adventure with catching, training, evolving, trading, and home decoration. It lists Android and Windows availability and was updated September 10, 2026.
