Lucknow airport new parking rates: what drivers should know
Hindustan Times reported on October 3, 2026, that a revised tariff covers airport entry, parking and monthly passes. Amar Ujala reported that the rates became effective from Thursday midnight, which would mean the transition into October 1; that timing has not been independently confirmed against an official notice. The airport’s online parking page describes pre-booking and QR-code payment, but its displayed rate table does not match the figures in current local reporting.

Do not wait in a restricted pick-up or no-parking area
The Hindustan Times report says airport enforcement against vehicles lingering in no-parking areas and pick-up/drop-off lanes has increased. Vehicles may be wheel-clamped or towed by crane. Reported penalties are ₹500 for two-wheelers and ₹1,000 for cars, tempos, SUVs, minibuses, buses and trucks. Use designated parking rather than treating a terminal lane as a waiting space.

- Check the airport’s official parking page for its parking service and QR-code pre-booking information.
- Do not assume the rates displayed there reflect the October 2026 revision: the page’s surfaced charge table appears inconsistent with local reports.
- Contact the airport or parking operator directly to confirm the current amount for your vehicle category and expected duration, along with monthly-pass terms if relevant.
Amar Ujala reports the private-car free period fell from ten minutes to eight; its October 3 report and an October 3 Navbharat Times report also describe the eight-minute allowance. These reports corroborate that change, but neither resolves the mismatch between reported new amounts and the airport page.
