Is the Tango suitable for a newborn?
The Tango can be configured in bassinet mode for a newborn. Love N Care’s manual gives that mode a maximum child weight of 9 kg and says not to use the bassinet once a child can sit unaided; at that point, use the upright seat. CHOICE also lists the stroller as suitable for newborns, but its listing alone does not explain which configuration is intended.

Can it carry two children?
Yes, the manual describes an optional toddler seat sold separately. Availability and compatibility of a second seat for a particular Tango revision are not established by the published material; confirm the part matches your stroller before buying or fitting it.
Restrictions when both seats are fitted
- The main seat cannot be reversed or used as a carry cot.
- The main seat cannot use its third layback position.
- The second seat must not be reclined beyond 150 degrees.

What CHOICE’s review can—and cannot—tell you
CHOICE describes general stroller testing criteria, but the Tango’s detailed expert rating and product-specific good and bad points are locked on its public page. The accessible listing therefore supports the specifications above, not a claim that CHOICE recommends the Tango or a conclusion about how it performed in testing.
Safety and practical checks before use
The Tango manual states that the product complies with AS/NZS 2088:2009. Separately, Love N Care’s current general safety page says its pram and stroller category is tested to AS/NZS 2088 and includes 10,000-cycle fold testing; that general statement does not establish that a particular Tango unit was tested under the current company regime.

The manual’s operating instructions include these checks:
- Use the harness whenever a child is in the stroller, and keep children clear of moving parts.
- Apply the brakes whenever the stroller is stationary, and never leave children unattended.
- Do not use accessories that Love N Care did not supply.
- Do not leave connected harnesses unused where they could form a strangulation loop.
Because the listed dimensions and 13.7 kg weight are not comparative measurements, they do not establish that the Tango is compact or lightweight. Before choosing it, consider whether those dimensions and weight suit your storage space and routine, and verify the second-seat configuration and limits for your specific stroller.
