CHOICE also lists a price of $349, but its publication date and current validity are not established. Treat it as a historical listing, not a current offer or reliable estimate of secondhand value. Discontinuation makes secondhand availability plausible, but current stock has not been verified.
Which child-weight limit should you follow?
The sources do not agree. Love N Care’s manufacturer-hosted manual says, “Maximum weight should not exceed 20kg.” CHOICE reports 30 kg total, without a maximum for either individual seat. The available information does not establish whether the difference reflects different versions or a listing error.

Do not assume the higher figure applies to the stroller you are considering. Check the manual supplied with that specific unit and any labels on the stroller. If the applicable limit cannot be confirmed, ask Love N Care for guidance before using it.
What is and isn’t established about performance?
CHOICE has a review page for the Hi-Rise, but its expert rating, performance scores, safety-test result, pros and cons are member-only in the available material. Those fields do not establish a pass or fail here, and the published specifications alone cannot show how the stroller handles, folds or holds up in use. No hands-on test findings are available to support a performance verdict.

Safety checks and care instructions
The manufacturer’s manual gives practical operating and maintenance guidance. It is not an independent inspection of a particular secondhand stroller; check the actual unit for damage and missing parts before use.

- Do not use the stroller on stairs or escalators. Take care when folding or unfolding to avoid trapping fingers.
- Stop using the stroller if it is damaged.
- Clean vinyl parts with mild soap and water. The manual recommends oil on caster bolts and wheel grease to maintain wheel movement.
What to check before buying a used Hi-Rise
Because this is a discontinued model, assess the individual stroller rather than relying on its name or a seller’s description. Use the manufacturer’s manual for the unit where available, and check:

- That both seats, harnesses, buckles and any supplied parts are present and functional.
- That wheels turn and attach properly, and that the frame and fabric show no damage that would make the stroller unsafe.
- That the rear-seat newborn configuration and the child-weight limit suit your needs, based on the manual for that stroller.
- That the folded stroller fits your storage space and vehicle. The listed 113 × 58 × 125 cm measurements are dimensions, not folded dimensions.
- That the basket’s 5 kg listed capacity is adequate for your routine.
How it compares with current Love N Care tandem options
Love N Care’s current catalogue includes egg2 tandem seats and adaptors, as well as Neo configurations described with built-in tandem adaptors and second-seat options. These are newer tandem-related products to investigate, not proven direct replacements for the Hi-Rise. The available information does not establish equivalent features, compatibility or comparative performance.
Before choosing between a used Hi-Rise and a current configuration, compare each model’s in-use and folded dimensions, stroller weight, per-seat child-weight limits, newborn arrangements, basket capacity, folding and storage, price and availability, and safety documentation.
