What happened with the Love and Deepspace cocktails?
PC Gamer reported on October 5, 2026, that Infold posted character-themed cocktail imagery for its mobile game Love and Deepspace on X on September 29. The report associated Rafayel with fire lily and Sylus with Datura. It said fans reacted with questions including “Hey, what the hell?”—a reaction quoted in the article, not a measure of wider audience opinion.

About 36 hours after the original post, according to PC Gamer, Infold issued this follow-up warning: “Safety notice: All drinks shown are fictional and for in-game purposes only. Do not attempt to recreate or consume them in reality.” The warning makes the practical point clear: the images are game content, not drink instructions.
Is Datura safe to consume?
No. MedlinePlus identifies Datura as another name for jimsonweed and says the plant contains poisonous substances, including atropine, hyoscine (scopolamine), hyoscyamine, and other tropane alkaloids. Possible poisoning symptoms listed by MedlinePlus include dry mouth, blurred vision, a rapid or irregular pulse, confusion or delirium, hallucinations, seizures, coma, and death. Those are possible effects, not a prediction of what will happen after any particular exposure; the amount and circumstances matter.
What to do after a suspected ingestion
If someone may have swallowed Datura or another poisonous plant, seek immediate medical help. Do not induce vomiting unless poison control or a health professional tells you to. MedlinePlus provides hotline directions for people in the United States; elsewhere, contact your local poison center or emergency medical service.

PC Gamer’s account describes fictional cocktail imagery and reproduces Infold’s instruction not to recreate or consume it. It does not establish that the pictured drinks were real recipes or that seeing the post can cause poisoning.
