Neither is established as a released or fully greenlit game. Former creative director Peter Andreoli’s portfolio labels Warhammer “NDA · Concept Only” and The Walking Dead “NDA · Concept & Prototype Only.”
What were the Lost Boys Interactive Warhammer 40K and Walking Dead games?
They were pitches, not announced products. A report by MP1st, published October 1, 2026, described concept art, 3D assets and a short prototype segment that had surfaced in former employees’ portfolios. Andreoli’s portfolio independently confirms creative work on both licensed projects and provides the clearest status labels.
| Pitch | Proposed game | Portfolio status |
|---|---|---|
| Warhammer 40,000 | Squad-based tactical first-person shooter | “NDA · Concept Only” (Andreoli portfolio) |
| The Walking Dead | Open-world colony simulator | “NDA · Concept & Prototype Only” (Andreoli portfolio) |
What did the Warhammer 40,000 pitch involve?
MP1st describes a tactical FPS concept made in Unreal Engine 5, with squad play and cover-based combat. The reported pitch-demo material included a cybernetically augmented Techmarine, Chainsword, Boltgun and Plasma Gun, as well as grenades and ammunition pickups. Some renders reportedly used a first-person camera perspective.
Those details describe concept-stage material, not proof of a completed game or a greenlight. Andreoli’s portfolio confirms that he led creative on an original Warhammer 40,000 pitch, but it does not independently confirm the reported engine, weapons or squad systems.

What was the Walking Dead colony simulator?
MP1st reports that Lost Boys developed the concept with Skybound Entertainment as an open-world survival and colony-management game, also using Unreal Engine 5. Its reported systems included stealth, crafting and AI dialogue designed to let companions react to branching player choices.
The concept art reportedly showed survivor settlements from an isometric, top-down perspective: a mill complex, a roadside diner and a mobile camp built around an RV convoy. The material suggested that bases could be fortified over time and accumulate scavenged resources.

MP1st also describes a brief prototype segment shown from a closer third-person view. In it, a mission involved building a barricade, with other objectives involving hostile guards and rescuing survivors named Cassidy and Tristan. Andreoli’s portfolio supports the broader account of survival-driven narrative design and a companion AI dialogue prototype, but not every mission or location detail.

Andreoli lists his Lost Boys Creative Director tenure as 2023–2024 and marks both pitches as complete. His portfolio characterizes The Walking Dead work as concept and prototype only, and Warhammer as concept only. MP1st estimates that work occurred from 2023 to early 2024 based on former employees’ timelines and connects the projects’ apparent halt to layoffs at Lost Boys Interactive in January 2024.

That timing is a report’s estimate, not a confirmed cancellation date. The supported conclusion is that the surfaced work appears to have remained at concept or prototype stage.
