Is the Lord of the Rings 5E game moving to 5.5?
Yes. Free League says the revised The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying 5E Core Rules update the game from 5E to the 5.5 ruleset and are fully standalone. The separate The One Ring line uses its own rules, so the two game systems should not be treated as interchangeable.

Free League states that owners of either current core-rules PDF purchased through Free League Unbound or DriveThruRPG will receive the revised digital version automatically when it is complete.
