A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11Verdict: The LiberNovo Maxis Airflow adds a powered fan system in the seat to the Maxis Electric’s motorized lumbar support and OmniStretch. It is most worth considering if you fit the chair’s recommended 178–200 cm height range and want seat ventilation enough to accept a firmer cushion. LiberNovo’s cooling, battery-life and noise figures are manufacturer claims; independent measurements of the Airflow’s cooling effect are not established here.
What is different about the Maxis Airflow?
LiberNovo sells three Maxis configurations. All share the same frame and seat dimensions, according to the company’s FAQ, but their lumbar and ventilation features differ.

| Configuration | Lumbar and stretch functions | Seat ventilation | Cushion feel, according to LiberNovo |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maxis Manual | Manual lumbar adjustment | No | Softer than Airflow |
| Maxis Electric | Motorized lumbar support and OmniStretch | No | Softer than Airflow |
| Maxis Airflow | Motorized lumbar support and OmniStretch | Yes; active seat ventilation | Firmer because of the reinforced air-channel structure |
OmniStretch is included on Electric and Airflow, so the Airflow’s distinguishing addition is the seat fan—not a different frame or a larger fit. The trade-off is important: LiberNovo says the cushion is noticeably firmer than the Manual and Electric versions because the channels require reinforced construction. That may suit someone who prioritizes ventilation, but it is not automatically an upgrade in comfort.

How the seat ventilation works—and what is not verified
LiberNovo describes a centrifugal fan that moves air through channels in the cushion. The system is designed to turn on automatically when someone sits down and has two speeds. This is active ventilation through the seat, not a claim that the chair cools the whole room or regulates body temperature.
#1 Best Overall
- Bionic FlexFit Backrest: Precision-Tailored Comfort, Perfectly Aligned for Your Spine.
- Gentle Spine Stretching: Lean back, decompress, and recharge with built-in lumbar stretch.
- 105° to 160° Recline & Controlled Recline System: Enjoy smooth, stable recline with no sudden drops for confident support. Choose from five lockable positions between 105° and 160°, and pair with the LiberNovo StepSync Footrest to support healthy posture, provide ergonomic leg support, and maximize reclining comfort.
- Spacious Frame & Flared Base: A wider frame and flared base release hip pressure, providing unconstrained support for broader backs and more comfortable breathing room.
- Enhanced Adjustability: Extended-range headrest and Maxis customizable armrests provide personalized support and unrestricted comfort from upright work to full recline.
The company quotes up to 24 hours of operation on Low and up to 10 hours on High. These are manufacturer-stated maximum runtimes, not independently measured results. The FAQ gives a designed Low-setting sound level of about 40–41 dB and a specification of no more than 42 dB; those figures are also LiberNovo’s, not independent noise measurements. No independent airflow, cooling-effect, fan-noise or long-term comfort measurements are established here, so treat the system as a potentially useful feature rather than proven all-day cooling.
Will the chair fit you?
LiberNovo recommends the Maxis for people 178–200 cm tall (5 ft 10 in–6 ft 7 in) and lists a maximum supported weight of 181 kg (399 lb). These are manufacturer specifications, not an independent fit assessment. The seat is 52 cm deep; the FAQ gives approximate cushion dimensions of 520 mm deep, 580 mm wide and 70 mm thick.

The company says shorter users can still use the chair but may find the seat deep; a footrest may help some people. Fit for users above 200 cm is not guaranteed. Because the Airflow shares its seat dimensions with the other Maxis versions, choosing Airflow does not solve a seat-depth mismatch. If possible, check whether your legs and feet sit comfortably with your back against the chair before choosing this configuration.

Returns, warranty and price depend on your market
Terms differ by region and configuration, so check the product page and policy that apply to your delivery address. The US page advertises a 30-day period from delivery and free return shipping, subject to conditions including like-new condition and return of the original packaging, accessories and manuals. The EU product page lists six years of frame coverage and two years for electronics. Those terms should not be assumed to apply in other markets.
The listed price varies by market and selected configuration. Since a product page may display a different Maxis model by default, verify that the selected item is specifically Airflow and check its current regional price, stock, return terms and warranty at checkout.

Who should consider the Maxis Airflow?
- Consider it if you fit the recommended range, want motorized lumbar support and OmniStretch, and value active ventilation in the seat enough to accept a firmer cushion.
- Compare it with Maxis Electric if you want the lumbar and stretch functions but do not need the fan or prefer the softer cushion described by LiberNovo.
- Check fit first if you are shorter than the recommended range or have previously found deep seats uncomfortable. A footrest may help some shorter users, but it does not change the seat depth.
- Do not buy on cooling claims alone if you need independently verified fan performance, noise or all-day comfort data; those measurements are not established here.
What to check before ordering
- Confirm that the product selector names Maxis Airflow, not Manual or Electric, and review the price for your region.
- Compare your height and preferred sitting position with the recommended 178–200 cm range and 52 cm seat depth.
- Decide whether active seat ventilation is worth the firmer cushion compared with Manual or Electric.
- Read the return and warranty terms shown for your country, including any packaging or condition requirements.
- Check which battery and accessories are included; do not assume a Maxis Electric battery will work with Airflow.
