LG specifies a 3840 × 2160 IPS panel, a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz and a 1 ms gray-to-gray response time for the 32GR93U-B. The 1 ms figure is an advertised specification; it is not the same as an independent measurement of response performance.

For PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, HDMI 2.1 bandwidth is useful for high-resolution, high-refresh output, while VRR support can help smooth variable frame rates in supported games and configurations. Actual modes depend on the console, game and settings; the monitor’s specifications alone do not guarantee a particular frame rate.
Is HDR any good on the 32GR93U?
DisplayHDR 400 is a certification and feature specification, not a promise of dramatic HDR contrast. RTINGS reports low contrast, no local dimming and highlights that do not stand out. In darker scenes, blacks can look gray, which limits the separation between bright highlights and deep shadows that gives HDR much of its impact.

Expert Reviews measured 453 cd/m² SDR brightness and 1,193:1 SDR contrast on its review sample in 2024. These are sample-specific measurements, not guaranteed values for every unit. Expert Reviews described the image as bright and colorful, while LG’s 95% DCI-P3 figure is a manufacturer-stated typical coverage claim.

LG lists height, tilt and pivot adjustment, but Expert Reviews notes that the supplied stand lacks horizontal swivel. To change the horizontal viewing angle, you have to move the monitor and stand together. A compatible VESA arm can add swivel; confirm the monitor’s weight falls within the arm’s supported range and that its 100 × 100 mm mount matches.
