Lenovo’s Yoga All-in-One i 32 Gen 11 Aura Edition can make a gaming desktop feel less appealing—but not because it matches a gaming tower’s graphics performance. In its September 24, 2026 review, HowToGeek praised the all-in-one’s 32-inch 4K OLED display, distinctive design and everyday speed, while explicitly noting weaker graphics than similarly priced desktops. Its appeal is the complete desk experience; its trade-off is gaming power and flexibility.
Why the Yoga i 32 can tempt a desktop gamer
The HowToGeek review’s headline reaction was personal: “With the Lenovo Yoga All-in-One i 32 Gen 11 Aura Edition (my goodness, what a name, Lenovo), I feel the desire to return to my trustworthy gaming desktop less than ever.” That is best understood as praise for the experience of using the whole system, not a claim that it replaces a gaming PC in every game.

The reviewed machine combines the computer, a large high-resolution screen, and built-in desktop essentials in one package. HowToGeek described its design as futuristic and premium, and highlighted the vibrant, smooth display and strong everyday performance. For work, browsing, media, and games that do not demand top-tier graphics, that integrated setup may matter more than having a tower under the desk.

HowToGeek reported a price of $2,870 for the configuration with two 1TB SSDs in its 2026 review. That is a historical review price, not a current verified offer. The review’s value argument is that the cost should be weighed against a complete desktop setup—including a capable monitor, webcam, microphone, and speakers—not just the tower. Whether that comparison works for you depends on what equipment you already own and what you need to buy.
Where a gaming desktop still has the edge
HowToGeek’s review says the Yoga’s GPU performance is weaker than that of similarly priced desktops. The evidence does not establish that the i 32 matches a gaming tower in demanding games, and the review provides no performance percentage or benchmark result to quantify the gap. If high graphics settings, demanding new releases, or the ability to upgrade your graphics card are priorities, a desktop remains the more suitable direction to investigate.

The review also identifies limits beyond graphics. The CPU and memory are not upgradeable, and although the M.2 SSDs can be upgraded, storage changes do not turn the all-in-one into a more powerful gaming system. HowToGeek also criticized the limited ports, lack of meaningful height adjustment, and a stand it considered fragile. Those points matter if you expect to connect many peripherals, frequently adjust your screen position, or keep the system for years while replacing components.
How to decide between the all-in-one and a tower
Compare the experience you want rather than treating the Yoga as a direct performance substitute for a gaming desktop.

Do not confuse it with Lenovo’s Yoga AIO 27
The Yoga All-in-One i 32 Gen 11 is distinct from Lenovo’s Yoga AIO 27. TechRadar’s 2026 buying guide describes the AIO 27 as a different model with a 27-inch QHD IPS display and configurations up to Intel Core Ultra 9, 32GB of RAM, and RTX 4050 graphics. The guide notes that the most powerful versions are not available in the US. Those specifications and regional availability do not describe the i 32 Gen 11.
TechRadar also gives general guidance that it would not usually recommend an all-in-one for serious gaming, pointing to the physical constraints of fitting components into a slim display, airflow considerations, limits on high-powered graphics, and lower upgradeability. That is category-level advice, not a measured assessment of this particular i 32. For this model, the specific comparison available from HowToGeek is that its graphics are weaker than those of similarly priced desktops.
