How the Dimensity 9500s compares with Snapdragon 8 Elite
The Yoga Tab Gen 2 uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s. Notebookcheck’s comparison says the chip averaged around 81% of Snapdragon 8 Elite performance across the tests it listed. That figure summarizes those benchmark results; it does not mean every task or benchmark will show the same gap, nor does it establish how the tablets feel in everyday use.
Notebookcheck describes the Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 as a larger, 13-inch-class tablet with Snapdragon 8 Elite. Its launch coverage also identifies the OnePlus Pad 3 as a 13.2-inch, 3.4K, 144Hz model with the same Snapdragon chip. Compare the specific models available to you on screen size and resolution, processor results, expandable storage, battery and charging, accessories in the box, and current local price. The available facts do not establish a universal winner.

Who should consider this deal?
At the reported U.S. price, the Yoga Tab Gen 2 is most compelling to someone who wants a compact, high-resolution 144Hz screen and values the reported pen-and-keyboard bundle. Its 3:2 display, microSD expansion, and listed USB-C DisplayPort output may also matter when choosing between a smaller tablet and larger alternatives. Whether $599.99 is good value depends on the live price, local configuration and bundle, and your preference for display size versus processor performance; the reported benchmark comparison is not a substitute for assessing those trade-offs.
