What launched in India, and what does it cost?
91mobiles reported the Indian launch on 7 October 2026. Its launch report described three configurations, but the exact retail SKU and availability should be checked on Lenovo India before buying because regional configurations can differ. The first two prices are the figures 91mobiles reported as listed on Lenovo.com on 7 October 2026, not guaranteed current offers. The OLED price was an estimate, not a confirmed Lenovo price. [91mobiles]
Lenovo’s India page for part number 22BGA02LIG lists a different specific configuration: Core Ultra 7 266V, 16 GB LPDDR5X memory, 512 GB SSD, a 14-inch 1920 × 1200 IPS screen rated at 400 nits and 120 Hz, and a 65 W adapter. How light is the ThinkBook 14x?
Lenovo’s PSREF lists a starting weight of 990 g (2.18 lb), just under 1 kg. Lenovo qualifies this as approximate: weight varies with configuration and manufacturing, so 990 g is not the exact weight of every Indian retail unit. Lenovo positions the product as mobile-focused. Its global announcement describes the ThinkBook 14x Gen 2 as “an ultra-thin device for users who value mobility, reliability, premium design, and personal style.” That announcement provides global product context; the India launch and Indian prices were reported separately. How long does the battery last?
Lenovo publishes different maximum battery-life claims depending on battery capacity and test method. The figures below come from the ThinkBook 14x ILL PSREF, last modified 28 May 2026, and are manufacturer claims rather than independent measurements.

Lenovo says these are approximate maximums based on the named tests. The larger battery alone therefore does not establish how long a particular unit will last in everyday work. Screen type, brightness and refresh settings also matter. Which display and processor options are listed?
Lenovo’s family-level PSREF lists Intel Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7 Series 2 processors with integrated Intel Arc graphics. It describes 14-inch WUXGA IPS and 2.8K OLED options; not every family option is necessarily sold in India.

Can you upgrade the memory or connect wired Ethernet?
Memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded, according to Lenovo’s PSREF. The family reference lists 16 GB or 32 GB LPDDR5X options, but availability depends on configuration. What should you check before choosing a configuration?
- Weight: Treat 990 g as the family’s approximate starting figure, not a guaranteed retail-unit measurement.
- Battery: Compare the 54.7 Wh and 65 Wh options alongside Lenovo’s test-method-specific claims; do not read the maximum figures as typical runtime.
- Screen: Verify IPS versus OLED, resolution, refresh rate and touch support on the exact SKU.
- Memory and storage: Choose sufficient RAM at purchase because it is soldered; check the installed SSD and expansion details for the unit being sold.
- Connectivity: Confirm whether the two USB-C, two USB-A and HDMI ports meet your needs, especially if you rely on wired Ethernet.
- Price and availability: Check Lenovo India for the live price, exact processor, battery and display. The launch prices reported on 7 October 2026 are a dated snapshot, and the OLED figure was an estimate.
If comparing it with another ultraportable, use the same criteria: current Indian price, qualified or measured weight, battery capacity and test method, display, memory upgradeability, ports and availability. Global coverage has discussed products such as the ASUS Zenbook A14 and MacBook Air M5 as comparison points, but those references do not establish a controlled performance or battery-life ranking for the ThinkBook 14x.
