Is the Snapdragon Dell faster?
The processor names alone cannot answer that. The Dell uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100, while the Lenovo uses Intel’s Core Ultra 5 325. The reviewed sources do not provide an independent benchmark comparing these exact configurations under the same workload, power mode and software conditions. It would therefore be inaccurate to say that the Snapdragon model “pulled way ahead” in measured performance based on this evidence.

For a meaningful speed comparison, look for testing that identifies the workload—such as sustained CPU rendering, browser tasks or a specific application—and reports the tested memory, software version and power settings. Results in one task do not necessarily predict performance in another, and app compatibility can affect practical results as much as peak processor capability.
Which display and size suit you?
Lenovo: more screen and OLED
The Lenovo’s 15.3-inch OLED panel has a listed resolution of 2880 × 1800 and a fixed 120Hz refresh rate. Its larger screen and OLED technology make it the more compelling spec-sheet choice if you prioritize a spacious workspace, high resolution or OLED contrast. The trade-off is a larger, heavier laptop.

Dell: easier to carry
The Dell’s 13.4-inch IPS LCD is listed at 2560 × 1600, with a variable 30–120Hz refresh rate. At 2.2 pounds, it is 0.6 pounds lighter than the Lenovo’s listed 2.8 pounds. That makes the Dell the more portable choice on the published figures, though the smaller display leaves less room for side-by-side windows.

Google lists up to 13 hours for the Lenovo and up to 18 hours for the Dell. Those are vendor estimates, and the comparison page does not establish that they were measured using the same workload or conditions. They should not be treated as a controlled head-to-head result.

Dell separately advertises up to 16 hours of Netflix streaming on a single charge. In its September 21, 2026 release, Dell says the August 2026 lab test used an XPS Googlebook with Snapdragon X Elite, a 2.5K LCD, 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. The test streamed 4K Netflix video at 150 nits with wireless enabled. Dell cautions that actual battery life may be significantly lower and varies with configuration and use. This is a different claim and test context from Google’s up-to-18-hour estimate, not confirmation of it. See Dell’s announcement and test conditions.
For your own expected runtime, prioritize independent results that use the same activity and brightness on both laptops. Video streaming, web browsing, intensive apps and screen brightness can produce substantially different runtimes.

Will Android apps work on both?
Google told Tom’s Hardware that the vast majority of Android apps run smoothly out of the box on both Intel- and Qualcomm-based Googlebooks. Google also said a small number of complex apps or games may need developer tuning on Intel platforms. It did not name affected apps, so this does not establish that a particular app will fail on the Lenovo—or that every app will behave identically on either device. The report is at Tom’s Hardware.
If you rely on a particular Android app or game, check its current compatibility with the exact Googlebook and processor before buying. Pay special attention to specialist, resource-intensive apps rather than assuming that general compatibility guarantees every feature will work.

Ports, charging and configuration checks
Google lists different USB-C/Thunderbolt and USB-A arrangements for the two models. Because port details can differ by configuration, check the product listing for the exact SKU and compare it with the devices you plan to connect, such as an external monitor, storage drive or wired accessory. Both are listed with 65W USB-C charging; the available sources do not establish whether a charger is included or whether every charger will provide the intended charging performance.
