LEGO lists it at $129.99 in the US on October 4, 2026, and gives its dimensions as over 24 cm high, 21 cm wide and 16 cm deep. Those specifications make it a substantial shelf piece; whether it is worth the price depends on how much you want these characters in LEGO form. Build time, handling stability, likeness and value against other sets have not been independently assessed here.
What is included in LEGO set 72423?
LEGO names the set Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots. Its listed 1,403 pieces make up two brick-built characters, one minifigure and a swamp-themed display base. How big is LEGO 72423?
LEGO states that the assembled model measures over 24 cm high, 21 cm wide and 16 cm deep. These are the manufacturer’s dimensions, not independent measurements. Before buying, compare the full footprint—especially the 21 cm width and 16 cm depth—with the shelf or desk space you intend to use. The height may also affect placement beneath shelves or in a display cabinet.
How does the set pose?
LEGO describes several movable features: Shrek’s head, arms, hands and fingers move; Donkey’s head rotates, while his mouth opens and his ears and tail swivel. These are manufacturer-stated features. Their range, how well poses hold and how stable the figures feel when handled have not been independently tested here, so treat them as advertised articulation rather than a confirmed performance assessment.

Is LEGO Shrek 72423 worth the price?
The official US listing showed a price of $129.99 and “available now” on October 4, 2026. Price and stock are regional and can change, so check LEGO’s current listing before deciding. The price alone does not establish value: this is most compelling for a buyer who specifically wants a sizable Shrek display, the named character lineup and the swamp details. There is no firsthand build assessment or like-for-like price comparison here, so build time, difficulty and value relative to other LEGO sets remain unassessed.
Who is this set for?
LEGO rates 72423 for ages 18+, positioning it as an adult-oriented display build. It is a natural fit for adult LEGO builders and Shrek fans who have enough room for its stated footprint and want Shrek and Donkey as brick-built figures, with Puss in Boots included as a minifigure. The format and age rating do not, by themselves, establish how challenging or satisfying the build will be.

No current price or stock comparison is established here, so choose by format and preferred characters rather than assuming one is the better value.
