LEGO’s three separately sold Pokémon display sets take different approaches: Rayquaza (72168) recreates Sky Pillar and includes Lorekeeper Zinnia, Arcanine (72160) is a poseable Pokémon model, and Up-Scaled Red Minifigure (40868) enlarges the trainer into a standalone build. LEGO announced US list prices of $129.99, $109.99 and $79.99, respectively; current retailer prices may differ.
What does the LEGO Sky Pillar set actually build?
Rayquaza (72168) is the set that brings the Sky Pillar setting into the range. LEGO says it recreates the location from Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, rather than presenting Rayquaza as a freestanding creature-only model. The display is more than 15 inches (38 cm) high and includes an exclusive Lorekeeper Zinnia minifigure. LEGO’s July 7, 2026 announcement identifies the setting and included character.

LEGO’s product feature says Rayquaza’s body can be reconfigured and posed, including its tail, torso, arms and head. The model can sit on its base or be displayed detached from it. Those details make the set’s defining idea the pairing of the Pokémon with a recognizable game setting and a separate character, rather than piece count alone. LEGO Senior Model Designer Lee Magpili said, “I hope people enjoy the experience of building as much as the finished product.” That is the designer’s stated hope, not an independent assessment of the build. LEGO’s Rayquaza and Poké Ball feature describes the display options and quotes Magpili.

How much is LEGO Pokémon Arcanine?
LEGO announced Arcanine (72160) at $109.99 in the US, with separate announced prices of €99.99 and £89.99 for those markets. It is a 1,190-piece, 18+ display model measuring over 6.7 inches (17 cm) high, 3.5 inches (9 cm) wide and 11.2 inches (28.6 cm) deep. LEGO describes it as fully poseable. These are launch-announcement figures, not current store quotes. LEGO’s announcement gives the specifications, launch date and regional announced prices.
Is Up-Scaled Red Minifigure a separate set?
Yes. Up-Scaled Red Minifigure is its own set, number 40868, rather than a character included only with another product. It has 930 pieces, is listed for ages 10+, and LEGO announced a US list price of $79.99. Red wears a red hat, blue trousers, backpack and red vest with a pin, and holds a Poké Ball; the arms and legs pose and the head rotates. Red also appears in the separate Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball set (72154), alongside other scene elements and characters. That appearance does not make the Up-Scaled Red set an add-on or the same product: 40868 is sold as its own numbered set. LEGO’s announcement lists the products separately.

LEGO presents the range as models designed to retain each Pokémon’s recognizable characteristics while using LEGO elements. Senior Element Designer Mikkel Schou Nielsen said: “All molded figures are made to minifigure scale in these sets (…) with clear intention of preserving the characteristics of each Pokémon, while adding the right amount of LEGO DNA to each character,” the official product feature reports. This describes the design intent; it does not establish how the finished models feel to build, how sturdy their poses are, or how they compare in person. The verified information supports a specification-based comparison, not a hands-on quality verdict.

LEGO announced August 1, 2026 as the launch date for Arcanine and Rayquaza, and October 1, 2026 for Up-Scaled Red.
