What is the LEGO PlayStation set?
Set 72306 recreates the original PlayStation console and controller as a brick-built display model. LEGO describes it as a near 1:1-scale replica and lists it for ages 18 and up. The 1,911-piece build is intended for display; it is not a playable game console. LEGO’s announcement and the official LEGO Shop listing provide the product specifications.

How much space does it need?
LEGO lists the assembled model as over 6 cm high, 26 cm wide, and 19 cm deep. Allow for at least that footprint on a shelf, with extra room if you want to handle or reposition the controller. The measurements are practical planning dimensions; “near 1:1 scale” is LEGO’s description of the replica, not a substitute for checking the model’s listed size.

What was the announced price and release schedule?
LEGO announced regional retail prices of £139.99 in the U.K., €159.99 in euro-priced markets, and $179.99 in the U.S. These are the manufacturer’s announced prices, not confirmation of today’s checkout price. LEGO announced Insiders early access beginning October 1, 2026, followed by general availability from October 4, 2026. Where can you buy the LEGO PlayStation set?
LEGO named LEGO.com/PlayStation, LEGO Stores, and select retailers as sales channels. Sony separately named PlayStation Direct for the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, with access beginning October 1, 2026. Sony’s announcement identifies those countries, but neither company’s launch announcement confirms current stock.
