Mayor Manor: the direct haunted-house pick
LEGO describes Mayor Manor as a two-story house with a crooked facade and gothic furnishings, accompanied by three glow-in-the-dark characters, a cat and a rat. Its listed dimensions are over 9.5 in. (27 cm) high, 11.5 in. (30 cm) wide and 5 in. (13 cm) deep. Those proportions make it a comparatively wide, shallow model; measure the shelf before buying. Haunted House: choose the ride and mechanism
The Haunted House opens to reveal its interior and includes a working free-fall ride and automatic doors. LEGO says the elevator can be controlled with separately sold Powered Up components, so motorization is an optional extra rather than something to assume is included. LEGO lists the model at roughly 68 cm high and 25 cm wide and deep, making it a tall-footprint choice compared with Mayor Manor. Check the product listing for current availability and buying details.
Small decor or a licensed scene
The Skull Candle and Pumpkin Lantern suit a modest seasonal display or smaller gift better than someone looking for a full haunted manor. For licensed themes, the US assortment includes La Catrina, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Creel House and Nevermore Academy at the listed ages, piece counts and prices in the table. Compare the theme and available space first; a higher piece count does not by itself show that a set is more difficult or better value.
